Patch groaned silently to herself as she heard the word 'kill.' But as she was about to argue, Pain started screeching and toppled away. He was screaming at his paws, which seemed fine. They were messy, but fine. Patch looked at the tom and rushed forwards. "Calm down! Everything's okay! I don't know what the hell is happening in your mind, but it's okay! Everything is fine here!" She yelled, scooting back to keep her distance.

When she yelled he began panicking again and wimpering pleads before staring wide eyed at nothing like he had seen a ghost.

Patch sighed and shook her head. Now she made it worse... Before she had time to feel bad for herself, she rushed over towards him. "Pain... Take a deep breath and sit down. I'm gonna get you something to eat." She murmured, reminding herself that he probably hasn't eaten in a bit.

Patch hesitantly walked off to find some prey. On her way, she noticed a lone poppy seed in the dirt. Those helped cats with distress and sleep, right? That'll be helpful. She noted where the seed was and kept going. As soon as she caught the scent of prey, she crouched down and stalked around for the animal. A plump mouse caught her attention, and she didn't wait to spring at it. The mouse was too slow to escape the she-cat, and she quickly killed it.
As she walked back, Patch passed by the poppy seed and stopped. She blinked, and stared at the prey. Patch unsheathed a claw and made a tiny cut into the prey. She lightly pushed the seed in and continued on her way towards Pain. When she did, she nudged the mouse to him. He seemed a bit dazed, as he was just looking into the air. "If you can't see it normally, it's a mouse."

Natalia was wandering around, and she found a weird scene. Pain had apparently resurfaced, after having been gone for a long time. The scarred tom was passed out on the ground, his muzzle stained with blood from the messy prey carcass before him, presumably. Patch was there as well, standing around awkwardly as she did.
She approached, seemingly unconcerned by anything that was taking place. "Well, this looks pathetic." She said bluntly, not caring how unkind her words may seem.

Patch sat by his side, staring down at the sleeping tom. What was wrong with him..? She wanted to help him, but nothing really worked well. The she-cat noticed Natalia approach and she flicked her tail in greeting. Suddenly, the other cat spoke and it set Pain off like a firecracker. She frantically backed up.
"Oh great, I thought those poppy seeds worked." She murmured to herself before turning to her friend. "I found him like this and tried to help him. Pain, it's okay!"

Natalia stared passively, as her presence seemed to make whatever was wrong with Pain, worse. She tilted her head and snorted. "This is a sorry state of affairs." She stepped forward and stood next to Patch. She looked to the she-cat and tilted her head again. "Seems like Pain wandered into loner territories to lose his sanity."

(sorry I'm late I had unit tests.)
"Seems like you wandered into you death" Pain hissed sitting out each vowel as he sedately swayed.
