(@haz. Charlotte has multiple personas. Lottie is very kind and Charley is very sassy.)
Charley walked through her new home. It was Lottie who had picked it out and she was having trouble seeing exsactly why. It was so open and there was little to no protection from preditors. And the cats. Just walking around she could smell that there were way too many other cats around the area. Then again, that fact alone could have been the reason Lottie had chosen here of all places. She loved to socalize and make as many friends as possible. Which led her to get into trouble oh so often and Charley had to pull her out of it. Maybe Charley could just refuse to stay there and they could find a new home with less cats. But then Lottie would probably leave to find a home with more cats again. After five attempts Lottie had proved that. So the next step would be to find a good home that was easy enough to protect. If there were any there. Then again, in the plains you could see preditors coming from a much further distance away. It wasn't ideal but it had its pros along with it many cons.
She decided that if she could find three, just three, good reasons to stay she would. The first of which would be the formerly stated fact that one could see preditors from a long distance. Just two to go. She tensed slightly as a cat passed and was glad to see that they did too. Reason number two, cats were no where near as naive as their past two homes. She decided to drop the third reason out of her mind, to review the day later and see if she had happened to find one.
As another cat approached she decided to interact. "Hello." she greeted. This cat was a grey tabby and appeared unhostile enough.
