RoverBurr padded across the Plains. She didn't always liked how open they were, but it was better then being in the forest... The colder months were coming, but the Sun shining above her made her long black pelt began to heat up. Just then, Burr stumbled across a small rock. Muttering underneath her breath, she kicked it away. If only those stupid Rogues hadn't showed up when they did all those Moons ago, Burr could've seen that rock. She probably wouldn't even be here... Stomping off, Burr just then noticed a scent in the air. Stopping, Burr called out, "I know you're there! Come out and show your self..."

Rover sat in the field, munching on some tall grass. Some thought it was weird that he ate grass, but most had never tried it so they had no right to judge. It tasted delicious.
But then something more exciting than the grass had caught his attention. A she-cat. He watched her movements closely, narrowing his eyes as she kicked a rock away. ’What’s her problem?’
Then she called out to him. He sighed. Was this even worth his time? ’I guess I have nothing better to do.’ Sliding out of the long grass, he began moving to stand in front of her. But then he realized something. She was blind. ”Why bother showing myself if you can’t even see me?” He questioned, not moving any closer.

Burr's sightless amber eyes flicked toward him. Why had she called out like that? Flicking her spiky tail she muttered, "I have always done that. Even if I am blind, I can still tell when people are around." She looked away from the tom, gently sniffing the air. Burr tipped her head and asked the tom, "Were you eating grass?"

He sighed in irritation. ”I didn’t ask that. I wanted to know why I should make myself visible, though I see you’re too stupid to even answer correctly.” He walked off into the grass again, only to make a U-turn and appear behind her. ”Eating grass? Why would I do a thing such as that? Maybe you’re nose-blind, too.”

Burr sighed, clearly this tom was very young... Burr could hear the tom make a turn around her, and she was ready for anything. Burr sank her claws into the grass as the tom called her nose-blind. He was full of sass wasn't he? "I think your the one nose-blind," Burr growled, "I can clearly smell grass in your breath!"

Rover paced back and forth before eventually taking a seat. His head was tipped to the side in curiousity. ”So strange... it’s as if you’re trying to insult me by suggesting I eat grass. That’s kind of a terrible insult, but you sure are creative, I’ll give you that.” He would deny the fact that he ate grass all the way to his grave. ”Would you mind telling me your name?”
