|| Cleo || Rover watched as a small deer grazed in the meadow. If only he was twice his size, he could take it down and have a meal. But unfortunately for him, he was just a regular-sized cat.
Stomach rumbling at the thought of eating the deer, he stood up and scented the air for prey. He caught the scent of a cat instead.
”Ugh, get away. I’m too busy to be bothered right now.”

Cleo had been watching the deer as well, her heart warming at the sight of the beautiful creature. She approached behind the tom, barely noticing him as he spoke. Though, even when he did, her eyes didn’t break from the deer. “Oh, I’m sorry, but I just wanted to see the deer.” Her eyes flicked to him briefly, smiling kindly.

Rover gave the she-cat a quick glance. She was older than himself, maybe a young adult, and had very interesting fur. He gave her a nod, moving his attention back to the deer. He was so prepared to snap at her, but he felt he had no right due to the calmness in her response.
After a long while, he finally turned back to her. ”...What’s your name?”

“Cleo, and you?” She purred softly, glad that his former attitude seemed to have shifted. Now that Cleo got a look at the tom, she realized that he was fairly young. Or atleast, too young in her opinion to be out alone.
“Where are your parents?” She questioned softly, her French accent somehow making the words seem even kinder, a genuine concern in her tone.
