[Lluvia]

Sluggishly Lluvia made her way out of her cave and out into the sunlight. It was cold...cold and quiet. Too quiet perhaps? Taking a few careful steps forward she cursed to herself as a foolish rabbit sprung from out the brush startling her. Her glistening yellow eyes pierced through the woodlands, carefully examining her surroundings. Once she was sure there were no intruders around she walked forward towards her favorite spot. A spot where she goes to... be normal perhaps?

After about a mile of walking in paranoia she approached a small stream. A beautiful sight, with the sun's rays bouncing from the water onto her white fur coat making it almost appear to glow. Looking to her left she could see two deer drinking cautiously from the stream, while watching her every move. " Save your fear for when I'm actually hungry. " She grumbled as she pawed at a pebble.

It's been at least two days since she last ate... A big meal anyways. Lluvia could be a bit lazy at times, a little too lazy perhaps? She shook herself and chuckled slightly as she watched drops of water fall everywhere. " Lost. " the words repeated into her mind as she looked back towards the deer, who have now ignored her presence.

Her claws dug into the earth as her smile vanished, revealing her pearly white canines. Staying low she made her way through the thick brush, making sure the deer wouldn't notice her disappearance. " Run. " more whispers flooded her mind causing Lluvia to pause in her tracks for a split second. Her cold gaze seemed to almost burn into the deer... and once she was in earshot she leaped from the bushes and gave chase.

A very short chase indeed... the confused deer didn't even have a chance to run. She clamped her jaws onto the deers neck and yanked her to the ground. Her claws digging into the deers shoulder. It was over before she even realized it had stopped moving. " Pathetic." she mumbled as she stood up licking the blood off her paws. Looking down at the deer she sneered, " Tsk tsk tsk... Told ya, should have saved your fear. "

Hali yawned and stretched. She didn’t yet have a den so she had made a makeshift nest and slept in the woods. Needless to say, she slept with one eye open. She always slept with one eye open, waking up at the quietest sound. She glanced up at the sky. It was around dawn, and the air was crisp and cold. The forest surrounding her was... quiet. Especially quiet for a forest. No birds chirped and the wind didn’t rustle the leaves. Something was coming. Probably a storm.

Nonetheless, Hali was on edge as she walked thrthough the forest, her pawsteps as quiet as the surrounding silence. It wouldn’t do to alert a preditor that she was near, and the slightest sound would carry far. As t was, she began to hear the sound of running water and made her way closer to find a stream. She hid in the bushes and glanced around, making sure no other wolf was near. There were a few dear on the other side, and she caugh a flash of white fur as another wolf jumped out at one of them, easily catching it.

Hali took a deep breath and peeped herself tor interaction before she backed silently out of the bushes and walked jauntily around them. She made her way to the stream and drank some water, keeping an eye on the other wolf.

[Lluvia]

Lluvia, who had been lost in thought for what seemed like forever, snapped back to her senses and eyed her kill. "Such a shame." the words barely escaping her mouth. Her glare hardened once more as a different scent hit her nose. Not a deer... but another wolf? Cautiously she turned to her left and at the edge of the stream was another female, lapping at the water...watching her. Was she alone? Glancing around the woods she found to her surprise she was indeed...alone. " Very rare." She murmured to herself, not many roamed alone around here.


It had been a very long time since she saw another wolf. Mainly because she always tried so hard to avoid other wolves in the first place. Yet here she was, locking eyes with a stranger. Blinking once she decided it was best to keep the hostility hidden... atleast till she was certain this stranger is of no danger to her. Keeping her gaze cold she walked along side the stream and approached the female. " Are you...alone? " the words came out harsher than she intended. Lluvia wasn't exactly an expert at communicating with others, but of course that's her own fault. Right?

As the other wolf approached, Hali straightened and tensed slightly, ready to run or fight at a moments notice. She didn’t have the best track record when it came to other wolves, and she had vowed long ago never to be caught off guard again. Those who said companionship was a good thing were plain out stupid. Companionship allows for another means of pain.

When the wolf asked the question, Hali shrugged. ”I either am or I’m not.” she responded, deciding not to give away that if she was kidnapped no one would care. That would be a stupid move. And who cared what impression she made? It wasn’t like she’d have to live with it for very long. If she made a good impression she’d find a new home, and if she made a bad one she could avoid this wolf. ”I’m Hali.” she added quite matter-of-factly.

[Eclipse]

White fur stuck out compared to the rest of the surroundings.Eclipse lurked in the shadows,eyeing the white furred wolf who was approaching another.His dark fur beginning to blend as the sun began to set over the horizon.Eclipse was quite the sight,matted fur,lean yet powerful,and eyes that seemed to resemble an abyss.Yet,despite his horrific looks he was quite the gentle fellow.Scrunching his nose he approached both of them careful not to startle them."Evening hope I am not intruding miss?" He barked as he dipped his head in greeting

" Secrets perhaps. " Another whisper crept down her spine. Her gaze seemingly lost once more. Giving her head a quick shake she managed to catch the strangers name. Her paws shifted beneath her uneasily as she was unsure of what to say. Looking back towards the female she managed to respond, " Lluvia. " Letting out a small breath of relief as the words came out. She was still very unsure on how to 'properly' speak to others. So instead, being her strange self, she simply sat there staring at the female searching for...answers perhaps?

" Another. " Lluvia instantly stood on all fours as a second wolf approached. A male this time around. Her gaze darkened as her claws dug into the earth once more. Lluvia didn't manage to catch what the male had said, all she knew was that he was a stranger and a stranger COULD possibly mean danger. Out of pure instinct a small growl began to rise from her throat, struggling to keep herself under control she croaked, " W-who are you. "

[Eclipse]

A bit taken aback by the sudden aggression from the white furred female Eclipse took a step back and barked "Now now is that how you greet friendlies? I am Eclipse,just happened to be walking through when I saw you and decided why not have a chat?". His icy blue eyes studied her shocking yellow ones.

Hali kept her face impassive, though this Lluvia interested her. She was,,, off. Not quite the same as most other wolves. Whether that was good or bad, Hali didn’t care. She was another wolf no matter how she acted. Her short, clipped way of speaking and the way she zoned out, it was almost like she was hiding something very carefully. But why use such caution with a stranger?

Hali’s thought trail was interupted by the other wolf who had been hiding in the bush. Not much of a surprise. ”It appears, Lluvia, that the question is if you’re alone.” Hali said curtly before turning to face the new wolf. Black, seemed to carry himself well, probably good at blending in. She decided to let Lluvia do the talking.

[Lluvia]

" Surrender. " Lluvia kept her stance, even though the male who went by 'Eclipse' seemed to back off not wanting any...trouble? Was she causing trouble? Not possible. Again, she shook the lingering thoughts and met his cool gaze. Why was he looking at her like that? She tilt her head as the words 'Friendliness' and 'Chat' escaped the males mouth. "Alone." the whispers clouded her mind once more.

Shaking her head for the... hundredth time? She focused back onto the male and Sneered, " We are not friends. "

"Alone." The words hit her again as Hali, the female, asked if she was alone. Keeping her cold gaze on the male she replied, " Always. Better that way. " . Her mind was an ocean of words, words she could use to communicate better...but there were waves, many waves that caused her to only make out a few of them at a time. She was indeed, odd.

Hali tilted her head. She completely agreed with Lluvia, but wasn’t gonna let that on. ”The word friend is strong Ecclipse. Strong and a lie. Chose your next words carefully.” she said, choosing to side more with Lluvia.

Eclipse furrowed his brows in confusion at the white wolf.Her eyes seemed to rip through his as she stood her ground, even after Hali seemed to side with her."Okay maybe not friends but how about strangers who just met?" Shrugging he yawned in hopes Lluvia would at the most relax a tad knowing he wasn't a threat.Looking back at Hali he barked "So Hali was it. Are you two traveling together?" Eclipse only figured these two knew eachother somehow. I mean Lluvia wasn't exactly as hostile to Hali.

Hali let her gaze loosen slightly at Eclipse’s next words. ”Be careful how you act around strangers, you can often pay for one wrong move.” she warned out of kindness rather than threat. ”No. We’re not traveling together. In fact, I’m pretty sure you were here when I arrived so you should know every word I’ve said to her. That or you arrived later than I assume.”

" Strangers. " With her claws still in the earth, Lluvia flicked her right ear at Hali's response. Atleast she understood that not just anyone you met was a 'friend'. Her gaze returned to its confused state as she carefully evaluated what exactly was going on. Here were not one but two 'lone' wolves who presumably are no threat. Something she quite wasn't used to. Keeping her guard up was a must for Lluvia, especially with her past.

" Hungry? " Was it a question... or a statement? She wasn't sure, she hadn't even realized the words came out of her mouth till they both turned their attention to her. A feeling of worry stormed through her body as she was unsure of how they would respond to that.

[Eclipse]

Eclipse furrowed his brows once more at Lluvias words.She was different,very different.She seemed to be full of mystery,a mystery that has yet to be solved.Looking towards the deer, not to far off,he figured that's what Lluvia had meant when she said hungry.Maybe this will help her relax a bit? He thought to himself as he nodded towards her.Walking quickly to the carcass he clamped his jaws onto the back leg of the animal and tugged till it broke off.A bit of a show off?Just a little.Walking back with his meal he nodded his thanks to Lluvia and turned back to Hali. "Caught me at my own game I see?Guess I need to work on my stalking skills.." He joked as tore into the deer leg.

With his mouthful he barked "So what exactly are you both doing out here alone? Especially so close to nightfall." Talk about Eclipses manners.

" Cautious. " The voice in the back of her head seemed to repeat the word over and over again, until she shook her head clear and looked at the male. How was he so...calm? Was he not afraid of them? She studied him once more and decided she'd play along with his little game... that is if it is a game. " To forget. " She murmured in response to his question. Truth be told, Lluvia had no idea what exactly she was doing out here. In fact, she didn't even remember waking up this morning? Was this a dream...perhaps?
