Tomorrow my friend Ginny is 9hopefully0 coming over. I'll try it with her. Lately I have been unsuccesful. Any tips? Good places to imagine oneself? How long should you spend walking through the forest? During the whole trance thing, are you okay to be awake? Because I am always aware of my real surroundings.

Heres what I do when I want to talk to Mam or Kassidy;
I lay down on my back on a flat surface. No pillows, so blankets.
I face my palms upwards and close my eyes. I breath. To get into a meditative state, I focus my mind only on my breathing, and try to think of moving water, like ocean waves.
Eventually I can begin to feel like I'm elsewhere, but I still know I'm laying down somewhere. I 'sit up' and 'open my eyes'.
Hope this helps!

Okay, I do the same thing as Whitesky basically.
I lay down, and I ground myself, which is the first step that a lot of people forget. First I imagion myself standing up in a dark place, and then a light shines down at me. Roots come out of my feet and dig into the ground, then red lines come out of the roots. It represents the light and peace entering me, and all the negitivity exiting me.
When my mind is floating, which takes a LONG time at times, I imagion myself turning into a hawk and flying out of the darkness. But since you don't know what your spirit animal is you can't really do that yet. So. . . I'll give you a different scenario of what you can do.
When your mind starts to float and you're not really thinking about anything imagion that you close your eyes, and fall asleep. You start to feel like you're in the ocean, your body moving in the waves, and you can hear waves crashing onto the shore.
You open your eyes, and you see the sun is shining down on you, a ocean is to the side of you, you're laying on the sand and you get up. To the side of you there is a cave, curiosity gets the better of you and you go into it. There are torches lighting the way for you.
Deeper and deeper into the cave you go, soon you see a opening, you go through it.
At first the light blinds you, soon you refocus to a beautiful green meadow, and wind rustles in the trees and you can't help but smile, it's so beautiful here, and you're so relaxed. You travel deeper into the beauty.
Eventually you see some place to sit that looks comfortable, so you go and sit there. A animal approaches you.
That's when your story changes into whatever happens.

(Yeah for me it's teacher inservice.) Anyways.. When I come to meet my spirit animal I usually come out to see a forest. I wait in a clearing. Same cave. But I start out on a hill by a waterfall and a small pond with a beach like area behind me with the waves crashing on the shore.

Teacher In Service for me, too. Skyflight, I hope this works. I can try it tonight since it is so hot I won't be using blankets or pillows anyways,

Everyone's world is different.
For me I fly into the cave in a hawk form. But before that I would wake up on a rock-shore, with a grey sky and crashing waves against the rocky shore. All around my island is a rock wall, the only entrence to get into it is the cave, it's lit by blue mushrooms. At the end I see a hole, like in Alice in Wonderland, but I have to climb in it, not jump down. It's covered by a purple viel. (The color Purple represents Spirit)
I climb through it and find myself in a green forest, I pass a brook and come across a meadow with yellowing grass. Fall and summer are my favorite color-season. There is a big stone and a dead tree to the side of it. Behind the big stone and tree there is a lake with blue water. The sky is clear and the sun is bright.
Usually Farrow perches there and I sit in the bench.

So we all have different worlds. Huh. Well, I suppose I'll go to a forest!!! I always feel comfortable in the wildlife.

Yes, we all have different Realms. Which is why we can't enter one-an-other's spirit world.

I was very very concerned because I thought you had to imagine an existing Spirit Location, so I asked. Now I see, I have my very own!!!

Yes, most of the time that's what people struggle with most. Because mostly its your imagionation that you have to use, and often, especially to me, It's hard to find out what you're making up- and what is actually there. But generally, if you think something is going to happen in your spirit world, then it most likely shouldn't end up like that.
If you have a bird totem its harder, because for birds one of the gifts is intuition, and at times you may actually be right about what is going to happen in your spirit world, but mostly you're wrong.
Example:
Last night I contacted Farrow and Selience(Messenger Guide), and I thought I was suppose to get a animal, and Selience told me I was, but she kept saying the animal started with a T. But she wouldn't tell me what.
I was imagioning that, I was getting a new animal. But it wasn't starting with a T, it was a raccoon. And his name was Theo. I haven't met him yet, but he's here to help me out with a specific person who's struggling with there life. Just like Selience is here to help me because I'm struggling with school.

Herm, Selience must have been referring to his name. Since my imagination runs wild, it may be hard to get it to focus. I will try my best, though.
I do really hope my totem is an Ocelot, but who am I to choose?

Yea, you have no control over what you can have. Because trust me, I wanted a wolf, and I got a hawk. Was I dissipointed? Not really, because I feel like the hawk suits me. Just know that whatever animal you get, be proud of it.
