How do you find out your spirit animal? I have no clue.

It takes time, young padawan. (Don't ask..)
You must meditate and find your spirit world, also. Your spirit animal will contact you when it wants to the first time. But do not try to meditate every single day to find it. This may result in a longer period of waiting time.
Spirit animals are not friends to chat with, sorta, they are guides to your life.
If you don't know how to meditate there are threads saying how.
