Mine's a cricket, but I told you that. Here's how I found it: I first heard her when I was sitting on a line of rocks in my yard. She was chirping, and I (having always loved crickets) wanted to hear more. Before I knew it, a song came to me randomly, and when I sang it the cricket chirped like a metranome, stopping and starting when I did. I remembered this club, and I knew. When I moved closer, she stopped, but soon started again, more nervously than before. The wind suddenly started blowing really hard, which made me cool but not uncomfortable, showing me wind's name. It was a very amazing experience.

WOW that is cool. Mine is the fox and the story is way too long. If you have read the thread then you already know. But recently I've been having a hard time contacting it again. I have no clue why. So it sucks. I've been trying though. |

Yeah, mine accually MADE its house right out side mine, so I hear Wind chirping almost every night. The weird thing is that everyone else seems to have these visions and stuff. Nothing special happens to me, just the wind thing. I just kinda, felt it all. Just knew every thing, as soon as I heard her.

Well, I currently have two spirit animals. One is my main spirit, the other is just a messenger.
Farrow the white-tailed hawk is my lovely main spirit animal.
While Lousa is my messenger aardvark.
I was very frustrated and impatient with finding my spirit animal. I was so excited to actually get one that I couldn't concentrait well enough. Then Farrow made me vision times in my life when I had seen large white-tailed hawks around me. She made me feel like I was flying. Also she just repeated the name "Farrow" in my head. But I knew it wasn't spelt like the regular Pharoah, as in a egyptian king/queen.
Lousa came a little while ago, when I was having issues with finding myself. I'm still having troubles with myself, so he helps me through it a lot by giving me advice and such.
On a side note: All spirit animals are dead. But they can appear in the physical world.
For example, when I'm losing faith in Farrow. She decides to show herself to me.
On ANOTHER side note:
Foxy, the reason you're having trouble might be because you're trying too hard. Another reason is because it takes a //lot// of practice to establish a easy meditaion with your spirit animal.
I still can hardly meditate. I just try and seek her out in my dreams.

Yeah, I have trouble. I seem to meditate the best outside and when I sleep I don't dream. {Because of my lack of sleep, I've been passing out} So it's been hard latly.It's been one week since I stopped trying. |

Guides aren't neccisarily dead. They're just on a different plane of existence than humans.

Mine is a wolverine. i was having a dream where I was fighting a cougar and my shadow was a wolverine.

Mine is a white wolf. I've seen it a lot. Like once, I was sitting on my bed, and I looked to one side and saw it looking straight at me with soft blue eyes. When I lose hope in something the white wolf usually shows up. It seems to be there for me.  |

Yeah, Wind seems to understand alot more than a normal cricket should, with a love of music, so it doesn't seem "alive" exactly. I agree that it is not dead.

Well it's pretty cool to have an alive sprit animal. But I heard that your spirit animal can take over a close animal near, or far from you and you sometimes know and feel that the spirit is in him/her animal. So maybe your 'Spirit Cricket' is acually a real cricket with your sprit animal in it, taking form or that one. Or maybe it's a completly diffrent animal. {Not doubting you just saying} Who knows but you. |
