Fernpelt sat down near the edge of the mound of rocks, wondering what the CloudClan cats would reveal this time. She supposed she wouldn't know until they had said their share, and there wasn't any point worrying over it. Lifting her head, she tried to catch a scent of any other medicine cats nearing, but came up with nothing. Lying down, she simply enjoyed the feel of a warm summer breeze ruffling her fur. There was no harm in taking a nap from the long trek here.

Waspwing hadn't left at the same time as Fernpelt, since he had been busy with an herb safety lesson. But he was not going to miss this meeting. Finally he made it to the Shimmering Rocks, trying not to collapse from exhaustion. The trip was terrible for him, and not even because of the bad leg. It just made him tired.
He sat down next to Fernpelt, smiling in a cat like way at her. "Hello, Fernpelt." He purred, laying down. "You know, I feel like you and I really haven't had the chance to bond since I became a Medicine Cat. Maybe we can talk some on the way home." He murmured, swooshing his tail.

Jarring herself awake from her doze, she raised her head to see Waspwing. Sitting up, Fernpelt turned her head curiously towards the tom. It wasn't common for someone to outright request a relationship with her, and she felt slightly unnerved by it. Turning away, she focused her attention on the path that the other medicine cats would be arriving on.
"Er, I don't see any reason not to..." she responded without looking his way. How long had it been since she'd worked with another cat? Since Crystalglow, and that seemed to be ages ago. Sneaking a glance at Waspwing, she wondered what her new workmate would be like.

Peachwing watched the two Treeclan Medicine Cats from a perch in Cloudclan. She knew Fernepelt, but she barely knew this new guy, Waspwing. Peachwing hadn't attended a Half Moon Meeting in many moons. Now she was ready to yet again talk to the living. She had been watching Fireclan recently, her sister's clan. She knew that they had captured two Iceclan warriors, and she needed to talk to Skyflight or Heatherpelt about it. She didn't know what would happen, but it couldn't be good. Unless, of course, the two warriors actually wanted to be in Fireclan.
Hopefully Heatherpelt or Skyflight would actually come to this blasted meeting. Peachwing curled her tail around her paws as she waited and watched.

Waspwing looked back to the path, hoping someone else would come to the meeting. He had only met one other Medicine Cat once. Skyflight of Fireclan, and only for a brief period of time. He was determined to meet Heatherpelt, Sunblaze, Silentstep and Waterheart soon.
"Well, I don't know about you, but I'm seriously doubting anybody else will bother showing up. Nobody came last half moon, either, well, except Skyflight. And I don't plan on waiting up for them much longer, either." He grumbled at Fernpelt, resting his head on his paws.

Fernpelt sighed quietly. She remembered when she was first appointed Medicine Cat, no one would dare miss a half moon. Now it seemed as though it was nearly forgotten. It was no use waiting for them, by the time they arrived the clans might not even be around anymore.
"Let's just get this started. CloudClan might have a message for us, and delaying it won't serve our clan," Fernpelt hissed. She was impatient to hear the news of her ancestors, and she didn't want the lateness of the others to hinder any warnings from them.
Shifting her body closer to the rocks, she lightly connected her nose to the pile. Deep sleep began to envelop her, and the anticipation of the meeting with CloudClan made her shiver with excitement before losing consciousness.

Waspwing didn't speak, just touched noses with the Shimmering Rocks. He felt himself shiver, and he slowly drifted into sleep. But before sleep, all he felt was excitement to finally talk to his ancestors. Hopefully, though, they wouldn't have to warn him or Fernpelt about anything major in the clans.

As the two Medicine Cats drifted into sleep, Peachwing descended from her perch. She was still considering warning one of the two about Fireclan. She knew that the Iceclan cats would try and get their cats back. But it was probably too late to stop things.
Fernpelt
Peachwing walked up to Fernpelt, dipping her head. "Greetings, Fernpelt. Long time no see." She murmured, sitting down. "I've heard you've taken on a new co-worker. Waspwing, correct?" She had barely been keeping up with the clans lately. She had heard rumors of a war between Treeclan and Deathclan during Leaf-bare, but had been too distant from things to pay much attention.

Fernpelt slowly accustomised (that's a word...isn't it?) into CloudClan. shaking her head clear of any last remnants of sleepiness, she noticed Peachwing. The last time she had talked with her, they had argued over Solar...Solar-something. It was so long ago that Fernpelt's anger had simply disippated, an uncommon thing if you knew her well.
"Yes, he's not Crystalglow, but the clan needs Medicine Cats," she replied. Fernpelt mused over the fact that Peachwing was asking questions about Clan life, not Fernpelt asking Peachwing. Perhaps everything was at peace and there was no need for a warning this moon.
(EDIT: I don't mean to rush you guys, but I'd appreciate if we could get through this quickly since 1. Half moon has already grown to 62% and 2. I reaaaaally want to go roleplay in TreeClan. So if there isn't any actual danger, I'd like to wrap this up by tonight. I know I'm not in charge of this, but I'm just saying that's what I'd like to do. So...yeah.)

(You are allowed to RP in more than one thread, you know? But I will make this as fast as possible for you.) Peachwing nodded politely, sighing. "I have a small feeling you should send Waspwing to Iceclan, and soon. I don't know why, honestly, but it's just this little feeling. Don't bother telling him, I'll visit his dreams, too. But you should know that he'll be gone for a few days." She mewed, standing up. "Good luck, Fernpelt. Cloudclan lights your path."
She quickly walked away, fading into the mist.
Waspwing
Peachwing jumped down from a low tree branch, landing with a soft thud on the ground. Waspwing must be dreaming about Treeclan's territory. She saw him up ahead, moving faster than he had been coming to the Shimmering Rocks. He must not have a bad leg in his dreams, which wasn't surprising.
As she caught up Peachwing hissed to get Waspwing's attention.

Waspwing jumped at the sound of a hiss. Usually he was alone during his dreams, unless he was having a dream about being a Medicine Cat. He turned to see a pure white she-cat with green eyes. Her fur was beautiful, and she looked so wise. He could already guess that this was a Cloudclan spirit. "Greetings, stranger. It's nice to meet you. I'm guessing you already know my name, so I'll just ask for yours." He purred, sitting down.
It felt good not to have a bad leg in his dreams. He constantly had dreams about hunting or fighting, or running around the territory.

(I feel bad thread-jumping, seeing as I should be an example for younger members who might think roleplaying in several places at once is okay. Thank you for keeping it short with me.)
Fernpelt received the message from Peachwing with a respectful dip of her head, though the deference was difficult for her. In her dream, she blinked, and opened her eyes back at the shimmering rocks. Picking herself up, she shook off the sleep. Looking back, she noticed Waspwing was still sleeping. It wasn't normal for a Medicine cat to wake before the others, typically one would continue sleeping after being visited and wake along with the others. It seemed the lack of CloudClan visitors was changing things.
Sighing, she turned toward home. Sorry, Waspwing, Fernpelt thought. Our little chat is going to have to wait. Setting off at a trotting pace, she headed home.
