I need someone's advice and comments on this. Recently, I've been having very odd dreams. They're nightmares, but I've constantly been feeling very peaceful. No animal is in these nightmares but a constant butterfly on a flower nearby. In these nightmares, vampires are always in them. I'm not sure if this butterfly is my spirit animal or not, because these nightmares are always located in a natural area.
Is it my spirit animal summoning me? Or is it my spirit animal at all? Because sometimes I get this peaceful, wise energy from it, and I'm starting to wonder if it's my spirit animal trying to calm me down. I've always felt it in my mind, and I'm constantly seeing the same butterfly in my house with the same patterns and colors. What is happening?

That honestly sounds like a sign to me. I've had my Spirit Guide - a phoenix - for years now, and the first sign I got was a dream where the entire world burned to ashes, and even as I watched the world burn, I couldn't help but feel extremely peaceful because then Spar - the phoenix - landed on my shoulder and the world returned to normal. In any regard, vampires are considered vermin, so perhaps your Guide is telling you that you have a parasitic entity in your life - perhaps a boy/girlfriend who is distracting you too much? Or someone who distracts you constantly? Or maybe just someone who makes you feel extremely drained or upset.

A phoenix? That isn't a real animal.
I'm not entirely sure these nightmares are a sign. Usually signs don't have to do with..Mythical creatures. They usually involve your SA showing you something, or telling you something.
If you have this nightmare again try interacting with the butterfly.

Yes, a phoenix. <.< Believe it or not, spirit animals are not limited to the bounds of reality, and therefore can take any shape they wish.

I have the same... Problems. Mine is a wolf. I have this dream,
I'm at my dead Aunt's house. I walk through it, then I come to my cousin's bedroom. She waves me over, I come, then I crawl up a bunkbed. She pulls a curtain from the wall and it shows a tunnel, I follow the tunnel. It leads me to a secret place, then a wolf appears it attacks my cousin and she turns out to be a demon. I always scream then wake up.

I get nightmares too. It's usually about my friends dying or getting hurt, and it's usually at my old elementary school (but with current friends). My SA, Nara (a wolf), is usually watching me in the background, with other wolves around her, like a spirit pack.
