Stormflash continued to drag Brooksplash into the Medicine Den, he stopped and put her carefully on the ground. "Snakefang!?" He called, "Sunblaze!?" He looked around wildly for them, then turned his attention back to Brooksplash, to see if she had woken up yet. He hoped she did soon......

A slight ringing was in her ears. But what was bad was the fact that the ringing turned into words. It sounded like Snakefang and Sunblaze? Her eyes flickered and she let out a huge cough. Sounded deep and all grossing. Like a heave but yet a cough.
"Storm.... promise me.... you'll " she stared to say but faltered and continued again. " You'll love me. Your the only one who cares."
She tried to get up and stand but crumpled to a heap again. Her legs! They just burned and hurt all over. Her face was raw and bleeding in some spots. But her pads! They hurt like crazy and they were bleeding. She slowly drew a fot up to lick it. Of course nothing was easy anymore.

Stormflash nodded, "I will Brooksplash." He said quietly. He looked around for Sunblaze or Snakefang, hoping one of them would show up soon...... "Help!" He called. He also hoped the bleeding would stop. He gazed at Brooksplash sadly. "Everything's going to turn out fine. Everything's going to be fine." He told her. He looked up towards CloudClan, saying a silent prayer. Let Brooksplash get better...... She deserves a better life. He closed his eyes then opened them and turned his attention back to Brooksplash.

Brooksplash weakly smiled and picked up her head to lick his cheek. After she did so, Brook flopped back over.
"I'm glad you care. You and Flameheart are the only ones that matter anymore." She rasped.
Brooksplash started mumbling a prayer under her breath. You could ony hear,
'Help Me' 'Cloudclan please' 'Too young' 'Stormflash' 'Thank You'
Soon after she painfully curled herself up into a ball and licked her fur.

I opened my eyes and looked at the two cats. My tail swished over the soft earth. So many people were getting hurt! I wish our clan would be more careful. "Ok," I growled, standing up and shaking moss out of my fur. "Tell me how this happened, and what happened to her legs. Give me details. And stay calm. I can heal her."

After moments passed she spoke up with a raspy voice.
"I think I broke my left frong leg. I don't have much strength but ill get up somehow. " she paused to painfully showing him her broken leg, "See? And I haven't been eating much."
Brooksplash let out a large cough. It racked her whole body with shudders and you could see the bones protruding faintly through her ragged pelt. She fell back down and looked at Stormflash.
"If it wasn't for him, I would be passed out in the warriors den. Speaking of passing out, I've been doing that a lot. What's wrong with me??" She asked her eyes clouding with pain and worry.

Stormflash waited for Brooksplash to tell Snakefang, after she did he looked at the Medicine cat, waiting for him to reply. He glanced at Brooksplash, "You haven't been eating hardly at all." He murmured quietly, then looked back at Snakefang. "You can help her right?" He asked a little forcefully, his green eyes flashed.

"You haven't been eating? You should've forced yourself into eating," I growled. Tail swishing, I walked over to Brooksplash and sniffed her leg. But I caught scent of something...Oh no. I hid my terror and panic. Greencough! An early case! No wonder Brooksplash wasn't eating. I remained calm. "Brooksplash, it is only..." How do I break it? "It's only greencough. But don't worry. Sunblaze and I have stocked up on catmint. I know I can heal you."

Brook listened to Stormflash. What he said was true. Maybe he cared for her after all! She was about to speak but the medicine cat came to her and sniffed her. She sensed a feeling of possible fear and panic waft off of the medicine cat. Fear rose in her chest and she silently groaned. But when Snakefang said she should have forced herself to eat she spoke up a little louder.
"I couldn't eat. My stomach wouldn't keep anything down. And had such a bad cough that I could eat anything soft either." Her eyes teared up and she blinked them away. "I should have come in right away but then I got caught up in the dutys of the clan that I never did do it no matter how many cats told me too." She meowed painfully as another cough racked her body once again.
Her eyes glazed over when Snakefang said she had green cough. She shook her head. She couldn't belive it!!! But maybe she could have come in sooner.
"I hope you can heal my green cough. But about my leg? I can't hunt and I'm already useless to the clan." Broooksplash mowed painfully.

Stormflash sat down beside Brooksplash and laid his tabby tail on her shoulder. He listened to her talk and turned to look her in the eyes, "You're not useless!" He told her sternly, his green eyes fierce. "You're anything but useless." He meowed.
He looked at Snakefang again, "She'll be fine?" He asked with hope clear in his voice. "You can heal her?" He jumped to his paws with happiness. Brooksplash will be fine!!
