Fawnkit trotted into the medicine cat den where her favortite cat was. She hadn't seen Snakefang in what seemed like ages and was eager to see him again. Unfortionately, a very persistant cough prevented her from going outside and playing, for she feared it would be bad for her health. Her ears flickered back and forth catching every little sound around her. The camp was eeriely quiet and Fawnkit didn't like it one bit. Her white tabby pelt was ruffled and sticking up everywhere and her blue eyes were dull and very sickly looking.
"Oh Snakefang!" She coughed a loud hacking cough, "Are you around?"
The little tabby she-kit looked around and frowned. This would be an interesting meeting for sure. Fawnkit sat down and weazed as she tried to breathe. The kit was swishing her little bobtail and wrinkled her nose. Boy, this den could use a little cleaning up! There were little parts of herbs littered on the floor and it smelled rather... rank. Like no apprentice had come in and clean in a while. Of course, there weren't many apprentices that would go around and clean any dens without being pestered about anything anyways.

I shoved aside part of a piece of a moss, cursing under my breath. I must've bumped into my herbs while I sleepwalked again. Rolling my eyes, I attempted to clean up the mess. That's when I heard the call.
"Snakefang?"
Then, I heard someone coughing. Despite the coughing, I had to grin. I turned my head around and my smile widened. "Fawnkit! It's been a while, hasn't it? Kinda gets lonely in here after a while. I could use the company. After all, I'm a lonely old badger."
I joked around for a moment, then looked at her more closely. "Seems that you have a bad cough, eh? No problem. I have just the thing."
I searched for a moment, taking a look around my messy den. After a moment, I found what I was looking for; tansy. I picked up the yellow flower and split it into a smaller piece. I turned around once more and set the section of the flower in front of Fawnkit. "This shall soothe your cough. And if your throat hurts, let me know. I got some honey."

Fawnkit grinned and jumped up to meet him. Oh she missed him so much! She stood on her hind legs and nuzzled his cheek before dropping down onto her four legs. Her little bobtail swished happily.
"Oh you! You're no lonely badger. I promise to visit you more often." She wheezed.
When he grabbed a yellow flower and started pulling it apart, she eyed it warily. He gave it to her and she gave him a questioning look like, 'Im supposed to eat this?' She shrugged at the sight of it and daintily took it in her mouth. The texture of the herb sat unsettling to her tongue. She chewed it and swallowed it, giving a sour face.
"Thank you Snakefang. Perhaps, later, I could come in and help you sort herbs or something. Or maybe we could go onan adventure outside!" She meowed, her wheezing sounded better.
She jumped around and playfully battered his paws with her tiny white paws. She playfully growled and bared her teeth at him.

I watched as Fawnkit swallowed the tansy. 'Good,' I thought. 'That will keep the coughing at bay.'
I laughed and looked back at my herb supply. Yes, it could do with a bit of organizing, but it was boring work. My gaze shifted back to Fawnkit, and I purred when she batted at me.
I crouched down and narrowed my eyes playfully. "I'm a giant fox, and I'm gonna get you!" My tail lashed, and I batted back at Fawnkit very gently, not wanting to hurt the young one.

Fawnkit squealed and jumped up on her paws. She darted around his paws and jumped on him, gently.
"No! No foxes allowed in camp!" She playfully growled, waggling her haunches.
