Den Under Construction {Part I}

[Griffin]

Griffin nosed some tall grasses out of the way, bending them outwards to create a hollow center in the grass. Then she plucked a bundle of long grass from a nearby patch, and began intricately weaving them into the stalks. 
She had picked this secluded spot in open land with long grasses because it would be harder to find. Intruders would search the forest's tree's and rocks for a nook or canny to raid. They would never think there was a nest in the middle on a vast plain of long grass.
When Griffin finished weaving, she decided to take a nap. Her paws were numb from threading grass all day, and her muscled ached from the hard work it endured. She plopped down on the half-finished den and closed her

[Venus]

Venus padded quickly as her body swerved along the tall grass. She kept herself  low to the ground as she picked up a scent. She slowed down as she padded slowly towards the smell of an others cats presents. She dropped into a hunters crouch as she gaze upon another cat about the same age as her. She decided to surprise this new feline. She wiggle herself a bit as she prepared for a pounce, she jumped up as she landed lightly on the feet of the other cat. She then quickly leaped off her as she landed lightly on the ground. She turned herself as she faced the other cat. "Well hello there." She meowed

[Griffin]

Griffin was focusing on the structure of her den when she heard a faint rustle of the grass. Before she knew it, a calico she-cat had burst to her side, landing beside her. Startled, she flinched backwards, her hackles raised. Once she discovered that the youngling was only a few moons bigger than her, she relaxed her tense stature, her fur settling back down.
"You scared me!" she gasped at the calico, her paws kneading the ground in embarrassment.

[Venus]

Venus gave her a slight smile. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you."  She meowed sweetly as she padded closer to her. Venus sat down as her tail swayed back and forth on the ground. "No need to feel embarrassed I to get scared." She meowed not really knowing if she was embarrassed our not. "Anyways we haven't formerly meet I'm Venus." She meowed  

[Griffin]

Griffin flicked her orange tail, deciding whether or not to be careful. After a few moments of hesitation, she replied, "Hi Venus, I'm Griffin." The tension had decreased now, and she added, "Nice to meet you. I like your name." and gave a slight smile at the youngling.

[Venus]

Venus bright green eyes gazed around the tall grass as she spoke. "Nice to meet you Griffin and thanx." She meowed " You picked a good location to make your nest." She meowed encouragingly. 
Huh she is a pretty smart kitty.

[Griffin]

Griffin dipped her head to acknowledge the praise. "Thank you." she meowed, her eyes shining, "I really appreciate that."
She circled her nest a few times, then said "I just came to Deathclan." Can you maybe help me get up-to-date with the events and maybe tell me about Deathclan?" She really needed help.
(This'll jazz it up )

[Venus]

"No problem." She meowed as she sat down. She swiped her tail over her paws neatly. "Ah you just came to DeathClan! So did I. Well let's see what's new there  new elites which are Droughts like well non trusted pupils. It's something like that." She meowed as she thought of more things that were happing around 

[Griffin]

Griffin nodded and sat down beside Venus. She was begining to like this calico more and more. "And?" She urged, "Who are the Elites?" She didn't know whether the Elites were friendly or not, but they seemed pretty close to the leader, unlike her. "What do they do?"

[Venus]

Well let's see the elites are Thicket, Vale, and Galaxy."  She meowed with a twitch of her whiskers. Oh yeah there is one more his name is Badger. I've meet Galaxy, he's not much of a mean guy, but he rest you gotta watch out for. She warned "Oh yeah the basically go around killing other cats for him, our getting special treatment cause there his strong trusted cats."   She explained. She wrinkled her nose as she snorted. "I would not like to get onto there bad side." 

[Griffin]

Griffin twitched her tail. That didn't seem like a great job to do, and she didn't want to think about it. "So, what other things are in Deathclan?" she asked, changing the subject.

[Venus]

"Well I think that's it basically, no wait there is royalty to. Not really sure what it is but I think if your kin to the leader then you royalty."  She meowed as she remembered meeting Vortex whom was half brother of Drought which made him royalty. 

| Drought Note: Actually, any cat who has made a name for themself within DeathClan can become royalty. It's not just cats who are related to my character~ |

[Griffin]

Griffin nodded. "That's all? What about us? What do we do?" It seemed like her question were endless.

[Venus]

"Well we get to join in battles and stuff like that." She meowed "I still have not been in any battles yet. So Griffin would you join any battles?" She meowed once again 

[Griffin]

Griffin had been watching a dragonfly whir by. "Huh?" she said, turning around, "Oh, no. I don't want to join any of the battles. I'm fine here."
