The little Lumine had pondered around the immense territory for hours, searching for her leader. She hadn't memorized senses yet--so she got lost often and was clueless about many things. Finally, she had found the giant cat (or at least giant to her). Lumine, being very shy, had wanted to get to know the leader--for she had know friends or parents, and was being picked on by other cats. She hoped the leader would take her under his wing, or even if not at least be kind to her. She had heard his name was Drought from whispers, and was very nervous about this encounter. Taking a deep breath, she slowly walked up to the leader, and with another deep breath said, "Hello Drought. My name is Lumine."

| Helps if you tag me, y'know. I don't have magic "new thread!" senses. |
Drought emerged from his den rather reluctantly when he scented a peasant nearby. For Darkpool's sake, it was cold out here today. He hadn't the faintest idea why anybody would be out and about - let alone visiting him.
"I'm aware," the leader responded gruffly. "We've met. I hope that little tussle with Hak didn't wipe out your memory or anything."

(Ooops, sorry about that ^^' Also, sorry for the late reply)
With a semi-respectful nod at her leader, she said, "Um....no, it didn't. Sorry, I got a little caught up in my thoughts for a second there." She remembered the incident well, for it had been only recently that she'd gotten into a fight with Hak. "I was just wondering...I know we're in DeathClan, and I know I have to be strong. But my parents are dead, and people are picking on me because of my smallness. I'm not sure weather causing fights with them would be wise or not, y'know what I mean?" she asked.

The tom stifled a sigh. "The only way you're going to earn respect here is by taking it. I'll spar with you, if that's what you're asking for," Drought meowed. Sparring, in his mind, was slightly different from plain combat practice - he tended to keep his claws mostly sheathed during the former. But ex-kittypet or not, if Lumine couldn't learn how to fight decently, she wouldn't last long in this forest.

Lumine smiled. "I'd like to spar with you, if that's okay." she confirmed with a nod of her head. She knew that she needed to get better at fighting, for it appeared no one could rescue her from the abuse of other cats. To survive out here, she needed to fend for herself. And to do that, she needed to be strong.
