(( Rowanberry Come along and post once you got your name changed Sunheart was slightly nervous. His first apprentice! He was just made a warrior too... Straight out of his warrior vigil. Still... He knew cats who had done that. Willowlight had gotten an apprentice right off the bat. Though he didn't really know Willowlight that well, or even know his apprentice at all. But then again, the same circumstances applied to his former mentor Turtleshell. 'I thought she did a great job...' He thought. Then he shook his head. 'I'm sure I'll do fine. Just do what I need to....' These were the thoughts running through the golden tabby's mind as he walked towards the apprentice's den. He looked up towards the sky. He hoped it wasn't too early... The sun had begun to rise a little while ago... It actually wasn't finished rising. '... Is this what cats call an unholy hour?' He wondered. Just in case, he decided to just wait outside the apprentice's den for his apprentice Rowanpaw.

(Sorry for the wait. I lost like, all of my VWW muse for a few days)
Rowanpaw had actually felt quite sad during his ceremony. He had imagined becoming an apprentice being the second greatest event of his life, only after becoming a warrior. But without three of his siblings getting one with him, and without Fawnkit ever being able to become an apprentice, moving into the new den felt wrong.
But, he couldn't dwell on it so much that his training would be thrown out. That morning he got up early, or at least he figured it was early since he had woken up before his mentor could wake him, and he padded out just to see Sunheart sitting beside the entrance. He blinked and dipped his head. "Good morning. I hope you haven't been waiting long. If you called me I really didn't hear you." He said quietly.

By now, the sun had already risen so it now hung in the sky. Just barely. Sunheart didn't want to tell the apprentice how long he'd actually been waiting... So he decided he'd just keep that little detail to himself. "It's alright. I haven't been here too long. I didn't call you quite yet... I thought I'd wait for you to wake up." He himself clearly remembered being woken up as an apprentice. He personally thought if he would be allowed to sleep and wake up on his own, he'd maybe done a little better. After all, going from drowsy to biting cold had been all in all a series of unfortunate experiences.
"Do you want to eat some prey before we go?" He asked.

Rowanpaw shook his head. "No, I'm already. I ate a big squirrel last night, so I'm not really hungry." He said, giving a little shrug. In truth, both his excitement and his anxiety were keeping his appetite at bay. Rowanpaw couldn't wait to see the land. All of the big trees he'd heard about, the other territories. He had been dreaming about this day for moons, and now it was finally here.

Sunheart smiled brightly down at his apprentice. "Then let's go." He gestured with his paw for Rowanpaw to follow. He began walking towards the exit of the camp. He wondered what he should show Rowanpaw first. 'Hm... I'll show him the Iceclan border first.' He decided in his mind. 'Get the colder places out of the way first... That way I don't think I'll be frozen when we get back.'
