(( Smokepaw , @canary , Rowanberry . If you don't mind me asking, could you guys do your best to at least reply at least once a week? If you can't that's fine too, but at least try. Almost, go for 50 words. It's not too bad. Heck, this OOC thing is roughly 50 words. )) Sunheart took a deep breath. 'Alright. I'll train all three of them in hunting. That shouldn't be too bad.' He had just woken up and was already thinking about what to do about his apprentices, settling on a hunting lesson. Though, once he looked up at the sky... It was dawn. The sun was still hiding a bit. 'Er... I think Starry broke my sleeping patterns...' He figured this is what most cats called 'an unholy hour'. Further, he figured his apprentices wouldn't exactly enjoy being woken up at the crack of dawn.Instead, he decided to sit by the entrance of the apprentice's den. He waited for them to wake and emerge. Hopefully before sun-high.

Smokepaw blinked his eyes lazily open, the light seeping into the den waking him up fairly early. For a second he felt panic, overwhelmed the unfamiliar scents and strange scenery before he realized he was in the apprentice's den. Right… I’m an apprentice now, he thought, an unusual glimmer of pride reflecting in his grey eyes as he stumbled to his feet. Slowly padding out of the den, he was surprised to find his mentor waiting. Shyly he greeted him, “Good morning, Thunheart,” the smoky-black tom said quietly, cringing as his own lisp.

Goldenpaw hadn't gotten a wink of sleep the night before, she felt uncomfortable in a new den surrounded by mostly unfamiliar cats. But she didn't really feel tired, no, she was far too excited to begin training. She was interrupted from her thoughts as she saw Smokepaw rise to his paws before exiting the den. She knew training began that day and they did have the same mentor... After a moment of contemplation she decided to leave the den as well. She rose to her paws and padded out on light paws, being considerate to the other cats. She nearly bumped into Smoke who was talking to a cat... Who happened to be their mentor.
"Goldenki- I mean paw reporting for duty!" She cheered as she went around Smoke so that she could see her new mentor face-to-face. "Helloooo Smokepaw~" She mewed to the other apprentice before giving him a big grin in greeting. "How was your first night in the den?" She questioned, hoping that her fellow apprentice slept better than she had.

Sunheart smiled warmly at Smokepaw.
He noticed that Smokepaw seemed to have a lisp, one he was rather uncomfortable with. 'I should just ignore it. He'll probably feel better that way.' He thought. Then his second apprentice emerged from the den, he noticed she still wasn't used to her apprentice name yet. He supposed suddenly having a new name would be quite a bit of a transition.... Though he had a smoother one himself, he guessed that wasn't the case for everybody.
He decided he'd talk to them when Goldenpaw was done with her morning conversation with Smokepaw or Rowanpaw arrived.

“Pretty good, I guethth,” Smokepaw mewed in reply. He had always been a relatively light sleeper, and despite being both nervous and anxious for today he had fallen asleep rather quickly the night before. “Though, I thort of mithth having all the other kitth around,” he confided softly, shuffling his fluffy paws. Maybe it was the fact that he had slept towards the edge of the den, but he was sure the apprentice’s den was far less crowded than the nursery, and a part of him felt uneasy without the comforting scent of his mother around.

Goldenpaw couldn't help but side-eye her mentor as Smokepaw began speaking. He seemed still young, but still many seasons older than herself. He seems rather uncomfortable and she wasn't sure what of, but she wasn't sure she really cared. Meeting new cats wasn't uncomfortable for her... But maybe it was for him?
She focused on Smoke again as he finished speaking. "It'll probably get easier as time goes by, but, it certainly was different. ." She admitted shrugging a bit. She drew her attention back to her mentor. Hopefully they could become acquaintances but she honestly wasn't sure she wanted to be friends, he wasn't close enough to her age to be friends, probably not until she became a warrior, but by that time they would be simply clan-mates.
