Smoke in the snow

Snowblossom sat up. She didn't have anything and she needed food so she walked out to the fresh kill pile and grabbed a vile. It was a big vole so she asked a black apprentice near by to share with her.

Smokepaw’s rounded ears perked as the white she-cat invited him to share prey. A part of him was warmed by the fact that she was nice enough to have offered, yet nervous by the fact that he would be sharing a meal with a warrior. Dipping his softly in customary greeting, he managed to send the she-cat a thankful smile, “H-Hi,” he stuttered, his fluffy tail tip twitching in dismay at his own shyness.

Snowblossom looked at smoke paw. A memory struck her about when she was young, a kit, and she was just as shy as Smokepaw seemed. De sat down by the apprentice and put the prey down.

Smokepaw shifted uneasily on his paws, trying to sort out all the thoughts running through his mind to a point where he could actual speak a sensible phrase. His mind was too clouded by both the stress the sudden change in his lifestyle took when he became an apprentice: this had been what he was dwelling on before he had interacted with the warrior.
The smoky-black tom preferred to be able to see the road ahead of him and the abrupt change in schedule had sent the young tom’s mind buzzing. Still within his first moon of apprenticeship, Smokepaw was sure he would have enough time to adjust— for now he managed to give Snowblossom an apologetic glance for his shyness, and fluttered his ears as he usually did when he was content.

She smiled at the apprentice. "It's ok if you are to busy, or to shy." she said

[Smokepaw]

“N-No, I have time it'th jutht…” he was shy, but a part of him refrained from admitting it out loud. His curved ears lowered slightly, and the tip of his fluffy tail twitted anxiously as he felt his mind fall blank. He shuffled his paws childishly, avoiding Snowblossom’s gaze, not knowing what to say next.

Snowblossom looked down shaking her head. "I shouldn't have brought that up." She said. "Anyway what is you name? I am Snowblossom."

[Smokepaw]

(( Sorry ‘bout the late reply. I’m kind of grounded so it might happen again :< ))

Smokepaw blinked, his fluffy tail-tip twitching as he realizing he had yet to introduce himself. “Thmokepaw… my name, I mean, it’th Thmokepaw,” he introduced softly, cringing a bit at his lisp but beginning to relax a bit. I hope I’m not boring her, he thought, flicking his grey gaze to the she-cat for a moment knowing he could be quiet.
