@bellbell04, @ilovethewarriorsats, Fallensnow. Thread is held during DAWN. Keep some sort of posting order please and thank you c:
Robinfrost waited by the camp entrance for his patrol of three cats, flicking his tail anxiously. He wanted to get out before it got to late, and too hot. Hmm. Maybe we'll fish and hunt under the pine trees. After a moment he decided on that, watching the Warrior's Den intently. As they finally approached, he gave a node to each before doing a quick head count.
"Alright, your all here," he said with a small affirmative nod. "Let's get going. We'll head tot the river first," he ducked underneath the ceiling of the tunnel entrance, padding briskly through the cold morning air as the sun just began to rise.

Fallensnow’s paws kneaded the ground softly, her bronze eyes glimmering with eagerness at the thought of stretching her muscles, the early time of day seeming not to hinder her youthful energy. The light squirming sensation in her stomach had kept her fearfully paralyzed in camp from the moment it had first started, but she had been assured by the other Queens that a hunting trip this early on wouldn’t affect the kitting— and besides, she didn’t want to sit around and do nothing for her Clan. Dipping her head in greeting to the other members of the patrol, the black-and-white she-cat gave a soft smile, not completely sure on how to go about starting a conversation. “Well, um, Hi,” she greeted, hoping she wasn’t coming off as awkward as she thought she was.

Waterbreeze smiled. "Hello." She replied as she started jogging to keep up with the rest of the patrol. She made sure that Rabit frost was in the lead of the patrol. She was very excited as this was her first hunting patrol. "I am Waterbreeze. What is your name?" She asked Fallensnow.

Dawnbriar padded behind the three cats, not wanting to much attention. "Man, but fish hatee." She mewed with a slight purr of amusement. She then started to speed up.

Robinfrost listened quietly to their chatter. It seemed so easy to make new friends for them - then again, they weren't as messed up as he was. They didn't have a complicated backstory and a reason to shut themselves out. As they approached the river, he let them pass, cocking his head as he looked for a good place to fish. A couple of rocks downstream caught his eye, hanging over a deep pool. There were sure to be some fish over there.
"We'll fish from there. Make sure your shadows don't touch the water," he warned, in case they had forgotten from their training. He leapt gracefully over a fallen log, taking a seat on one of the stones. He waited patiently for the others to join him, eyes trained on the water.

{Just as reference, the posting order is: Robinfrost, Me (Fallensnow), Waterbreeze, then Dawnbriar} “I’m Fallensnow,” the black-patched she-cat introduced, dipping her head politely in greeting to the final member of the patrol as she approached. Her eyes were latched onto the water as soon as it came into view, already antsy about hunting. Keeping Robinfrost’s advice about shadows in mind, she scoped out a good hunting spot. “I think I’ll try hunting over there,” the young queen informed to the remaining patrol, flicking her tail towards a decent sized stone— it’s shadow falling over the water. The shade from the rock should keep my own shadow hidden, she thought, trotting over to the stone, her eyes tracing over the water for any signs of fish.

Waterbreeze approached the water in a position that her shadow was behind her. She sat down and patiently watched for fish.

Dawnbriar stared at the water as they approached the river. As the rest of the cats sat by the river, she joined them. She didn't let her shadow cross the water and she didn't make a sound. She then waited patiently for a fish to come.

A silver flash caught Robinfrost's eye, and he swept his paw into the river. Flesh met his claws with a satisfying feeling, and he scooped it out of the water. Despite it's injury, the trout was still flapping wildly, and when he placed it on the rock, it almost fell back into the water. Until he snapped its neck.
When he was done, he turned to watch his Clanmates, to make sure nothing dangerous would happen. He gave an encouraging nod.

Fallensnow was momentarily distracted as Robinfrost made his catch, her bronze eyes catching on the shimmering droplets of water that had splashed when the tom had plunged his unsheathed paw into the water. “Nice catch,” she called out once his prey had fallen limp, then returned to her own hunting. She had pressed herself close to the stone she had chosen to hunt by, her shadow merging with it’s just as she had hoped— though if she looked closely she could make out her faint outline. She doubted the fish would see it though, its not like they ever seemed to notice they were being hunted until claws were raking down on their scaled back. There’s one! the black-and-white she-cat announced in her head, her gaze catching on the familiar red-stripe of a trout. Leaning forward, she waited a few moments before darting a paw into the water, cursing under her breath as the fish struggled. Luckily she was able to hook her claws under it’s spine, feeling the bone splinter under her claws as she tugged it upward fiercely and flung it out of the water, its limp body landing back on the shore.

Water reeve stared at the water near by her. A fish started swimming down thirds Her. She placed her paw in the.water and waited for it to come close enough before making a move. When it was in range she pulled up her paw and flopped the fish out of the water. Carefully, as to not let her shadow cross the water she made the killing bite and the fish that had been struggling to get back in the water fell limp. She placed the fish next to her and looked at her clan mates to see their progress before going back to watching the water.

"Thanks," he watched as the other two made the catches, then waited for Dawnbriar. He had decided that after they had each caught their own trout, they would continue on to the mountain peaks. If they could wait until a small eagle or hawk swooped down to catch a mouse, then they could tackle it as a team. Three warriors was enough to take down one of those, and they provided a lot of food.
He stood from his rock and picked up his fish, choosing a spot close to the river to bury it.
Thought I'd post to keep it going. (@bellbell04, @ilovethewarriorsats, Fallensnow) We can finish up soon c:

As soon as she spotted a fish, she launched her paw quickly at it. She managed to catch it but the fish almost slipped out of her paw. She picked up the fish in her jaws and started to choose a place to bury it for later.
