Her small paws make small quiet patters on the ground. She was searching for a small den. Maybe just a hole in the ground, or maybe a small nest in a tree. She didn't care as long as it was small enough for just her to fit. Her head tilts up to sniff the air, she didn't smell many other cats. Is that good?
She continued her search, climbing trees, looking into small borrows, even when into a log. Soon, she found a better den then she saw though out her small trip. It was a hole in the ground, inside was a small amount of moss growing on the walls. Taking a few cautious steps in, she moved the moss onto the floor a bit quickly then crawls out. She sniffed the air once more then sat outside the small hole.

Ash sniffed the air from her den, thinking a new cat was looking for a den. Hmm.. better go welcome them. The tabby got out of her small burrow and then followed the faint scent, guessing her dirty fur masked some scent. Along the way she shook the dust off. The she-cat ventured until she found a fresher scent of the feline, and then spotted. The royal feline hid along the trees and bushes, guessing the small she didn't find her scent yet.

She started grooming herself till she caught a scent after half a minute or more. She placed her newly cleaned paw onto the ground. Who was there? She was slightly afraid to speak. Was it frost again? She was a bit hard to chase off. "Hello?" She mews, her ears flicking and her neck stretched to look try and look over bushes.

Tired of hiding, she walked out casually and stared at the younger feline with her icy eyes. "Who are you? A new one to DeathClan?" she asked, being concerned about new members, but usually a bit calm and nicer.

She looks up to meet the eyes of a fluffy furred cat. She was bigger than Frost, most likely older than the both of them. She nodded at the question. Giving a quiet, "mm-hmm." as she did.

"Hmm.. what's your name?" she asked, not afraid to throw her name around, in fact, wanted everyone to know it. "I'm Ash." The tabby blinked, "Seems as you just found a den too, mine's farther off." She sat down and raised a paw to lick, brushing it over her ears, as she waited for the peasant to speak. Seems not so talkative, we might not go well if that.. she silently scolded herself for having a big mouth.

"My name is Talia, Nice to meet you Ash" She said, a small smile finding its way to her face. She was slightly surprised when she told her about her own den. Is it bad for them to be so close? "Is that good?" She asked, tilting her head a bit.

"Nice to meet you as well, Talia," she said, Interesting name, never heard something like that before. "By what do you mean, good? Oh the den? It's fine if you don't decide to invade mine." The tabby frowned, noticing she was in Talia's territory, "I was curious so I followed you, I mean no harm to you or you den, young peasant."

She nodded, understanding. As long as she stays on her side, shes fine. It was kinds strange to have some cat just follow her but it didn't bother her to much. Her smile widened a bit, knowing she could trust this cat. At least for now. She seemed kind, not like how she thought a Deathclan cat would act. She only heard the bad story's about these cats, maybe there aren't as bad as the story's say they are.

The tabby blinked, Doesn't talk much at all, and smiling, cats rarely smile around me. "Well you're on my list of five cats that know me, I really don't talk to others too much, but my curiosity brings me all around the territory." Since not seeing or talking to cats.. I suppose all my words are being brought down on this poor feline.. The tabby then decided not to talk more, she just felt lonely at times, but tended to ignore it.

Her smile faded a bit. "Really? Well, sometimes its good to be known by a few cats. If you want to be mysterious, only being know by a few cats would help." She said, not knowing if what she said helped but hoped it did.

(Hopefully y'all don't mind if I join in?)
Leaves brushed the dry soil, picking up small bits of it. The wind was a soft, teasing push. It picked up Bear's long fur and tossed it about. So many new scents! Bear thought to herself. There was the scent of spring and summer in the air! Finally! There was the scent of water, prey, lush forest, and... And another scent.
Part of the scent smelled like Bear's acquaintance, Ash, but the other half of the scents smelled unknown. A hint of earth and moss... But that was really it. Besides the distinct smell of feline.
Bear began to pick up the pace, determined to find the owner of this smell and meet this cat. And if Ash was in trouble...
The giant she-cat, though so large and would appear to be very noisy, was actually silent as a mouse, snaking through the grass. The sunning rock that she usually sun-bathed on, looked nice and warm. And the river, whom was sliding quietly and slowly past, seemed to turn to Bear and reach for her with open arms. But, Bear already had a goal in mind. To meet this new cat.
As the strange scent began to become more distinct, Bear looked back, and realizing her location, realized that she had just about covered the entire forest of Deathclan. But, it was worth it.
Before long, Bear was gazing out of the leaves of a giant oak. She gazed upon.. What? Was that a.. Kit?
Bear kept quiet. That cat was the smallest she'd ever seen, besides a kit. Even Bear, as a kit, was bigger than her. Bear lifted her head to look at her massive body. It's all part of the family! She thought to herself.
"Hello." She called, with absolutely no hesitation in her voice. She sat on the branch, awaiting an answer.

The tabby nodded, "Well, either way works." Ash scented a faint scent of a familiar smell, remembering Bear, long ago she met. "Bear? Where have you been?"

Bear looked down at Ash. "Places." She meowed loudly, before sliding down off the branch to drop next to Ash.

She smiled a bit wider till she scented another cat, this made the smile face a bit. Hearing the cats voice made her jump a bit. She turned her head to look at the long furred cat. She nodded a hello as a response to his greeting. Hearing Ash, her ear flicked. She they know each other? She watched the she-cat jump from the branch she was on and land next to Ash.
