Minnowpaw padded in an impatient circle out front of the apprenticed den, waiting for Pikepaw to get up. " We don't have all day, furball," the dark silver tabby growled, stopping so she could sheath and un-sheath her claws impatiently. Neither of them had training today, and the dark gray-blue tom had convinced her the night before that it would be a good idea to go hunting together while they had time. He arranged this whole ordeal, there's no reason he should be late! she thought, her tail tip twitching in anger. |

Pikepaw awoke to the sound of a familiar voice, his tabby-tipped ears twitching as he snuggled deeper into his nest.
"Just a few more minutes," he whined sleepily, somehow knowing the voice was directed at him.
'I don't think I have training to today,' the dark gray-blue tom thought, 'why is someone trying to get me up?'
Only a few moments later did he realize that he was supposed to go hunting with Minnowpaw today. Hauling himself onto his tired paws, the young apprentice dragged himself out of the apprentices den and towards him former friend, blinking the sleep from his eyes.
"Morning, Minnow," he purred, casting a longing glance towards the fresh-kill pile. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS |

"Finally," Minnowpaw huffed, glaring at Pikepaw when she caught him staring at the fresh-kill pile, "you took forever to get up. If you want to have time to actually catch something before were back on apprenticed duties then we have to leave now," she stated in a matter-o-fact tone, padding of in the direction of the camp entrance without waiting for the other apprentice's reaction.

"Okay," Pikepaw sighed, quickly trailing after Minnowpaw after casting another longing glance at the fresh-kill pile.
"So~" the tom started as he caught up to the tabby's side, "what's your mentor like? Her name was... Tigerblaze? Right? That sounds pretty cool," the apprentice said as he kept pace with the she-cat. MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS
