Minnowpaw was curled up bordley in her nest, flicking the tip of her tail as she stared at the ceiling. She wouldn't admit it, but her paws were feeling a little sore after her trek around the territory the day before. Suck it up, the dark silver tabby scolded herself, pulling herself on her paws and shaking the sleepiness from her pelt. Her pale yellow gaze caught on one of the other apprentices. Wasn't he at my ceremony? she thought, narrowing her eyes curiously, weird, he looks pretty old to just have been made an apprentice... what was his name again? She pondered on the thought for a few minuted, only remembering that there was another tom that sticked somewhat close to him. Figuring that it would be pointless to spend the rest of her apprenticeship wondering about this, she called over to the tom, "Hey, what was your name again?" she asked, her voice fairly apathetic as her gaze visibly fixed on the tom.

KitKat's head rested on his small paws, Hershey's large body curled up next to him. He missed his warm bed back home, but at least he had Hershey's warmth and his blanket. Kat's locket had shut off a while ago, thankfully, and Hershey was still asleep. When he heard the sound of a voice, he raised his head, ears pricked. He was almost the age of a warrior, maybe even a young one, he wasn't sure, yet he was sleeping with the apprentices.
At first he wasn't sure who the apprentice was talking to, but when he looked up she was staring straight at him. Oh. Did she ask for my name? "KitKat!" He called back with a bright smile. "Whats your name?" He asked, remembering to keep his voice low as to not wake the other apprentices. "H-hey, are you a...girl?" He asked, squinting his eyes. He'd only ever met one girl, and he wasn't entirely sure how to tell the difference by just scent. Lily, the one he had met before, had been really pretty, and this one was too. I bet all girls are pretty.
I apologize for his stupidity xD

--no need for apologizes, it's actually pretty adorable X3--
"Kitkat?" the dark silver tabby tipped her head to the side as she repeated the name, "that's a weird name," Minnowpaw stated. He defiantly seemed to be older than her, but the fact that he was sleeping in the apprentices den meant that he most likely just joined the clan. Do all rouges have weird names like that? she though as she continued to listen to the tom speak. "I'm Minnowpaw," she answered, her tail tip twitching proudly. She liked the way her new named sounded, it made her feel more mature and less insignificant than when she had been trapped in the nursery. I don't understand how some she-cat's want to be mothers, the young apprentice thought, kit's are just so... fishbrained. The tabby bristled a bit at Kitkat's last question. "I don't know, are you a tom?" she answered sarcastically, rolling her pale yellow eyes. I guess I'll let it slide this time, Minnowpaw thought with a small huff, knowing that if someone closer to her had asked her such a question she would've given them a good scratch over the ear.

KitKat shrugged, waiting until she said her name. "Not as weird as yours! Minnow...paw. Whats the point of the paw if everyone else has it at the end of their name? Unless you have a minnow for a paw?" He peered down at the apprentice's paws to check, to no avail. She had normal paws. "KitKat's a chocolate bar," he said, proud of his knowledge. He nodded to Hershey beside him. "And this here's Hershey, another type of chocolate bar."
"A tom? Yes! I mean.... I think so! That's what I've thought my whole life... how do I check?" His fictional eyebrows furrowed together in thought. Could I be a girl? Naw, I don't look like one! He watched her intently, seeing if her pretty would wear off and she'd turn into a male. It didn't work. "You're pretty, so you must be a girl! I've only ever met one, and she was pretty too."
