RiverShade laid there, figiting like a fish out of water. Nothing could quite comfort the female. To much stuff to think about yet nothing at all at the same time. She stretched out on her silvery back and stared through the tiny, tiny hole at the top of the den. That hole had always bugged her when it would rain or snow. When droplets of water or snowflakes dissolved on her thick pelt, chilling her to the very bone. Now though it gave her a great view of a star, high above the camp. High above the territory. Hanging in the sky giving soft light to the deep darkness.
But gazing at a star gets old after awhile. She sat up and quietly slipped out of the den. There dozens of stars shown above the she-cat. She didn't even try to find the one that he could see through the hole, there were far to many for that.
The thought of stars weren't enough to stop her, of stuff she had been thinking of all night. The secrets that she would keep to herself so she wouldn't jeopardize anything that she had or would miss if she lost them. She was deep with conflict. RiverShade needed a friend. And the bad thing is, her her few she had had, were not only part of her problem but were missing in action as well. So she had to keep things to herself, she had to let her feelings bubble with in. The problem is, she never knew when that bubbling would overflow, causing her to let his anger and confusion out on others.
She took a deep breath, letting the cool air chill her nostrils and freeze her lungs. Her long furred tail brushed back and forth on the ground, collecting dirt and crunched up leaves, like a broom cleaning the ground. The she-cat stopped and sat there, thoughts racing through her mind. Emotions mixed inside her. The thought of screaming crossed her mind, but the consequences were her fellow clan-mates hating her for disturbing their slumber. So she sat with the only sound being the rustling leafs and wind, swaying with the wind she lowered her head deep in thought and in need of a friend....
She stood once more and made her way out side of the camp hoping a walk would help with her mental war, she headed to no place in particular... letting her paws lead her she was still lost deep within her own thoughts when she looked up and recodnised the new settings the thick layers of grey stone was replaced by a thick layer of canopy she had neared the tree clan boarder she glanced around with a look of surprise she had not relised she had traveled so far just as she was about to turn she caught the strong scent of another cat not only was it a tom it was a neighboring clanner as well Tree Clan she turned and looked for the out line of the male.
