LeopardkitDovepaw slowly walked out of the apprentices den and yawned. She would go hunt odds were. She didn't have training because her mentor had disappeared leaving her with less to do to consume her day.

Leopardkit rolled around on a patch of ground that had been kept cool by the shade of a large rock. I'm glad that RockClan has a lot of shade, the mottled black tom thought as he stopped his rolling, I bet all the FireClan cat's are burning up in the heat, he chuckled, almost darkly, at the thought of smoldering FireClan warriors. Getting bored, the bright blue-eyed tom bounced onto his paws and looked around, spotting an older she-cat not far off. Smiling, the long-furred kitten skipped over to the stranger, introducing himself cheerfully, "Hi! I'm Leopardkit" |

"It's nice to meet you Dovepaw," Leopardkit mewled brightly. Her names Dovepaw... so that means she's an apprentice right? the mottled tom thought, looking over the she-cat quickly. She defiantly looked old enough to be an apprentice; in fact she looked old enough to be a warrior, well, too Leopardkit that is.
"Your an apprentice right?" the raven-black tom asked, not waiting for a reply before he went on, "what's being an apprentice like? And who's your mentor?" |

"I am an apprentice, being an apprentice is great, and I technically do not have a mentor as my former one, Onyxclaw, dissappeared." She replied auikly but shyly.

"Aww, that's too bad," Leopardkit mewed, leaning over and nuzzling the apprentice comfortingly, "but it looks like you'll probably be a warrior soon anyway, so hopefully they'll give you your final a- as- assessment soon so you can be a mentor yourself," he purred, fumbling a bit when it came to saying the word "assessment", seeing as how the young tom had yet to master pronouncing big words.
