The young FireClan apprentice crept into the clearing after her clan, ears perked and alert. This was only her second gathering, so the mechanics of this social event were still somewhat new to her. However, she began to submerge herself in listening to the socialization of the different smelling cats around her. The snowshoe flicked her eyes around the clearing somewhat awkwardly, hoping to catch the eyes of any other cat.

MAPS CAN BE POEMS WHEN YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN | The she-cat's answer didn't leave Thicketpaw any less baffled. Now that she was before him, he could smell the Rocklan on her. Well, Rockclan were known to be strange, he'd just have to accept it. "I don't know whether to be concerned or flattered," he purred thoughtfully, internally deciding that 'flattered' would lead to a better conversation. He rocked back slightly at the she-cat's overly friendly greeting, eyes widening before he shrugged and accepted it. She'd once again thrown him through a loop within the space of a minute, and it was rare that Thicketpaw was rendered so speechless. "Are you always so....friendly?" He inquired in disbelief. Though saying as much, he leaned in and gentle head-butted the she-cat's shoulder in a return greeting. "You're definitely an odd one, Crevicepaw. My name is Thicketpaw."Crevicelight |

Lionpaw froze when his eyes accidentally met those of another cat. For a moment he debated leaving the moment to be awkward, and turn back to sitting alone. After a moment of deliberation, in which he continued to stare at the Fireclan apprentice, he finally decided to make the situation worse and pad over. "Well um...Yo," he attempted tentatively, losing his nerve once he identified the apprentice as a she-cat. Would she be as bad tempered as Orchidpaw. "I suppose you're an apprentice, right?"

Mottledsnow & Thunderhowl Because why not. :3
Azaleapaw stood there, staring in mild horror at the many, many strangers who chatted with one another under the full moon. With nothing better to do, it seemed even enemies were talking to one another. But this wasn't some friendly, carefree meeting where cats became friends. It was a chance to learn about the other Clans, and perhaps even hear some slipped-up secrets. Though, the TreeClan apprentice was quite doubtful she held any charm. Most likely she would come across as annoying, if even noticed at all. Her regal personality didn't get her very far in terms of friends, coming from the truth of only one Clanmate she went out of her way to speaking to. Though, Freezepaw may or may not appreciate her constant chattering, so should she really count him as a close friend? Perhaps so, they did agree on being friends before, and gaining the "closeness" title could be easy considering they only had each other for company, mentors and kin aside.
But her personal life aside, young Azaleapaw decided to look around. Perhaps speak to someone? Well, she didn't see why not. And after this thought went through her head, she noticed two apprentices talking awkwardly somewhat away from everyone else. Perhaps they would suffice? I suppose I must give socializing a try. she muttered, sighing softly under her breath before trotting over to join the IceClan and FireClan cats.
Once nearing them, however, the words she was about to saw wavered on her tongue. She wasn't good with others. And 'just be yourself' wasn't the best option here. Despite that... it was the only option. And what did talking to another do? It wasn't like she was about to start a war or anything. "Hello," she said, trying her best to keep her voice level. It worked, no surprise there. "May I join this conversation as well?"

Masquerading as a man with a reason; my charade is the event of the season. And if I claim to be a wise man, well, it surely means that I don't know. On a stormy sea of moving emotion, tossed about, I'm like a ship on the ocean. I set a course for winds of fortune, but I hear the voices say: carry on my wayward son, there'll be peace when you are done. lay your weary head to rest, don't you cry no more.
Wolf "Yeah, okay," Wolfpaw responded lightheartedly, lips stretching to form a soft smile. He could only hope they'd see each other again in time for the warrior to return the favor. "An' you've got a thing for talking," the blonde retorted after his monologue, voiced laced with a gruff, playful lilt. "But, uh, that's fine, too. Woulda' been hard to keep a conversation goin' if you weren't."
Wolfpaw let out a loud, obnoxious snort at the tom's next few words, bobbing his head in agreement. "Mm. Or, y'know, the good guy gets the guy; I don't judge," he hinted somewhat smugly, throwing Raggedwolf a sly wink. His actions were by no means of flirting, mind you -- Wolfpaw just preferred displaying over-confidence instead of dealing with what he was feeling on the inside.
"Well. If I'm gonna be remembered for somethin', I guess "interesting" ain't too bad, either." The apprentice swiftly scanned the field, viridian orbs taking in the many, many cats surrounding them. Well. "So, Wolfy," he started, gaze flickering back over to the brown feline with a swallow. "How's RockClan been holdin' up?" tagged: @birdsspitonme | notes: none template by Sammy @ Adox 2.0

Mottledpaw snapped to attention as two apprentices approached her. By their scents it was easy to tell that the tom was IceClan, and the she-cat was TreeClan. The gang all seemed to be here; one cat from each Clan -- except RockClan that is. "Yes, that's right. I'm Mottledpaw, an apprentice of FireClan, I should be a warrior in just a few moons now. However, this is only my second gathering so things are still quite awkward for me." She admitted freely to the ginger apprentice; when the TreeClanner spoke she peered over at her in acknowledgment. "Sure thing." She responded, "Is this the first gathering you two have been to? How are you liking it so far?" She asked cooly, looking between the two of them.

Thornpaw had no clue what was going on. There were strangers everywhere. They were all talking... Seemingly with ease. How was that possible?! They didn't really know each other. All she could think that this was the strangest place ever. Gatherings were officially weird. She'd literally spoken to her family and then BOOM! Gathering with cats who were far more stranger danger than any cat in Treeclan. She took a deep breath. She noticed there was an apprentice from Treeclan speaking with two more. From different ones. She shuffled her paws nervously before slowly approaching the three apprentices. Now that she was closer, she noticed all three were bigger. And older. Was this a mistake? She considered it probably. As she scuttled towards there, she was muttering to herself under her breath. " Oh my Cloudclan this is a horrible idea, they probably will think I'm weird. Oh, they're all so big and probably hit it off and I'll make it weird..! Why am I still moving towards them, am I an idiot? Oh, who am I kidding! I totally am...." Finally reaching them she looked up and gave a nervous smile at all three. " Hey! I'm Thornpaw. Er, hi.... Dudes." She waited awkwardly, puffing her cheeks out. She wondered if her introduction was weird. Mottledsnow Thunderhowl Azaleapetal

(I'm trying) "Treeclan." Snowblossom said. She thought for a moment. Perhaps her scent was similar to Iceclan. She did like swimming a lot more than any other type of Treeclan cat should.

Robinfrost laughed, brushing up against Spidermask. "I've been well. There's no need to worry, Snap. As for friends, no. Though. I did give myself an apprentice if that counts?" He tilted his head, nudging her cheek with his muzzle. "And you? Whats new? Any new kits?"

'I don't know whether to be concerned or flattered.' Oh, no! What was wrong with her now? Crevicepaw knew that she was sometimes too much, but was this tom already tired of her? What did she ever do to get him to not like her? The Turkish Angora awkwardly stared at her paws, that was, until he spoke again, baffled at his head-butting. So he was a cat who popped personal bubbles too. Then again, Crevicepaw had no boundaries. "It's not that I'm so friendly," she stated, quoting the tom. "It's just who I am, I guess. Being the oddball seems to be something I'm good at, Thicketpaw." Crevicepaw sighed in admittance to the truth. Maybe she was too different than everyone else.

Crowwing
Thistlefang shrugged. "Well, gotta be polite." He gave a small smile and nodded at his question. "Beechstar was still leader when I was... a kit? Apprentice maybe? I can't remember him much." Even when Beechstar was leader, Thistlefang couldn't recall him being out in the open very often. His smile grew as Crowwing introduced himself. "Nice to meet you, Crowwing. I'm Thistlefang. What's being a medicine cat like? I bet it's a lot of work."
