i'm golden I'm out on the edge and I'm screaming my name Like a fool at the top of my lungs Sometimes when I close my eyes I pretend I'm alright But it's never enough Cause my echo, echo Is the only voice coming back Shadow, shadow Is the only friend that I have |
Morningflare | Gullcry
Raggedwolf trudged into the medicine cat den, albeit it grudgingly, and took a seat near the entrance. It seemed like a quiet enough day for the medicine cats, seeing as there wasn't another patient in sight. Now he felt a little better, bringing them work to do. He was certain his brother would go crazy without a patient to force his herbs on to.
It had only been a small training incident, and the tabby certainly hadn't felt the need to get the scratches on his face seen to. If it hadn't been for the expression of guilt on Snailpaw's face, he certainly wouldn't have bothered. Still, he worried that showing up to training the next day with muck all over his face would be as detrimental as not doing anything at all. Unfortunately, he was already here, and a tactical retreat seemed too late when the warrior hear approaching pawsteps.
"Sorry to be a bother," he called into the shadows, then narrowed his gaze as he looked for his brother. "Gullcry, that you?" Or perhaps it was Morningflare. He rarely saw either of the toms, but he wasn't about to pick out one above the other. "Snailpaw started battling with unsheathed claws today in training, got me on the cheek something good." The thickly-furred tom shook his head with an amused purr, less annoyed with his apprentice than he had been earlier that day. "If it's not too much trouble, I would appreciate your care. Though I'd equal understand being called a baby and sent away, for what it's worth."
His ears flicked bashfully at his own words, but Raggedwolf remained sitting and straightened his back slightly, ready to be welcomed.
