Sweeten Candies {OPEN}

[Sweetpaw]

What a nice day. I thought, peering out through the nursery entrance and up at the light blue sky. I wonder if Mama will play to me today! Whirling around in a rush of excitement, I found myself running towards my mother's nest in one blur of colors--before I stumbled into another kitten and fell back with a squeak. My eyes opened wide once I found my footing, and I gazed skeptically at the kitten I had crashed into. "Oops. Sorry," I began, not finding them familiar at all. I hope I didn't hurt them.

[Brokenpaw]

Brokenkit was padding over to his nest, returning from a quick trip to the dirt-place. Today had so far been uneventful, mostly just him staring at the ceiling of the nursery in pure boredom.     Why don't they just make Brokenkit an apprentice already?! he thought with a pout. It seemed as if he would never get out of the nursery. He was pretty sure Greykit had been an apprentice already since he hadn't seen her around, meaning that he had, like, literally no friends around. It just made things all the more boring. His self pity was interrupted, though, as a body came crashing into him, sending him sprawling off his paws and onto the nursery floor.     "Oops, sorry," the brown tabby looked up curiously at his attacker, not really bothered with the fact that he had been pushed to the ground. It seem intentional, so why should he get angry? Instead, a smile flashed across his face while he remained on his back and dramatically flailed his paws in the air.     "Alas, the great Brokenkit has been felled!" he mewled in an exaggerated tone, a playful gleam in his amber eyes.

"Alas, the great Brokenkit has been felled!' I couldn't help but giggle at his performance, reaching out a forepaw to dab his hind leg playfully. "He he! Your a funny one!" I said to him, no longer feeling bad for knocking the tom-kit into the ground. And I was also glad he wasn't angry with me. That wouldn't be any fun. "My name is Sweetkit." I introduced myself kindly, crouching down and lashing my small tail back and forth above my head. "And I'm going to get you, Brokenkit!" I declared, and with a light cry I tried to pounce on him! He he! My first game in the nursery! I thought, remembering how only a few days before my eyes had opened. Mama told me they were a really pretty blue. But Mama also lies... like when she promised to play with me the one day... so I don't know what color my eyes are now! Maybe green...? Or pink?

What color are Brokenkit's eyes? I thought, though I was too busy readying myself for the game I didn't have time to notice. Or ask. Maybe I'll ask when the game is over.

Brokenkit twitched as his leg hindleg was jabbed, looking up at the she-cat with a dorky grin.      "So Brokenkit has been told," the tabby replied, a fake tone of arrogance tainting his mew as he acted as if he had just been compliment for his dashing good looks.     "It is nice for Brokenkit to be meeting the Sweetkit," he said with a chuckle as he remained leisurely on his back. He didn't feel the need to introduce himself, usually by now most cats had the smarts to have figured out what his name was. The tom's amber eyes widened as Sweetkit pounced on him, not having the foresight to move out of the way while he still had a chance.     Blast! Brokenkit has been captured! the young tom thought as he writhed under the she-cat's paws. For a moment he wondered what he should do.     "If you plan on catching the great Brokenkit your going to have to try harder than that!" he mewled at last, pushing against Sweetkit with a soft but firm force as he tried to shift her weight so he could escape and make a run for it.

I squeaked when Brokenkit's paws pushed me aside, and I stumbled back a bit before regaining my balance. As if a little move like that would stop the mighty Sweetkit! The tomkit turned to crawl away from me, and when I found my footing, I leaped again. "Ha ha! Can't outwit the great--" My right forepaw smacked against my left leg, and I fell forward, falling down by Brokenkit's side. "Oof... whoops... u-uh, I mean... rawr! Gonna get you!" I wouldn't let this beat me, either!

[Brokenpaw]

Brokenkit huffed in triumph when he managed to get Sweetkit off him, making an immediate attempt to right himself and scramble away once he had the chance. Before he was completely on his feet, though, he glanced behind him only to watch as Sweetkit tripped over her own paws and stumbled to the ground. A snorty laugh escaped the brown tabby before he realized he should probably be running away. After all, it would be a pretty boring game if he just let his opponent win. Still, he started trotting away at a slow pace, waiting until Sweetkit was back on her feet before he picked up his speed.     "Brokenkit think's that it might be wiser for Sweetkit to get on her paws first," the young tom mewed over his shoulder, a good natured laughter in his voice.

I instantly leaped back onto my paws, before rushing forward with my tail high and waving like a twig. "That was totally a distraction!" I chirped, springing into the air and landing in front of Brokenkit. I flashed a gentle paw out to hit his ears. "Now I got you, Brokenkit!"

[Brokenpaw]

"The only distracting thing is Brokenkit's gorgeous face!" the tom retorted with a snicker, continuing with his brisk pace. A startled mew erupted from the tabby when Sweetkit suddenly appeared in front of him, and he dug his heels sharply into the ground to avoid crashing into her.  Her paw striked one of his ears and he blinked before narrowing his amber eyes in a "threatening" manner, a playful smirk slipping onto his features and displaying in broken fang.      "Is Sweetkit sure she should have done that?" Brokenkit quirked a brow questioningly and lashed his tail, preparing to retaliate, "after all, there is still time for her to beg for mercy."

 "Is Sweetkit sure she should have done that?" I grin, stepping back and crouching down. I lashed my tail on the ground, eyes trained on Brokenkit's ears again.  "after all, there is still time for her to beg for mercy." I giggle, and let my claws slide out for only a moment in a threatening way, but playful all the same. "You'll be the one begging for mercy!" I declared, springing up with my hind legs and leveling my eyes with his. "Gotcha!" I cried even before I actually did get him, as my sheathed paw swung out for the top of his head. I'm not scared of him! I squeak playfully.

Brokenkit's eyes widened as Sweetkit unsheathed her claws, more in curiosity than fear.     Will Sweetkit really attack Brokenkit? the tabby thought, tilting his to the side and tried his best to read the other kitten's thought. It didn't work. Pity, now would have been the most epic time to receive a cool super power. Guess Brokenkit will have to stick with being his usual awesome self, the dust-colored tom thought with a sigh, almost forgetting to keep an eye on his opponent. Luckily he had been watching out of Sweetkit, although it seemed it hadn't been close enough-- when he lunged at him the tabby didn't give himself enough to duck out of the way. In consequence his ears ended up getting attacked by the she-kit.     "Yowtch!" Brokenkit overplayed the injury and dropped immediately to the floor, "you got Brokenkit! Oh dear CloudClan, He can see the light at the end of the tunnel," he reached out his paw in a dramatic manor, "why, yes ClouClan. Brokenkit will be your new leader now that he has past on. First rule: all food must be tasted by Brokenkit before it can be eaten. Unless it's squirrel. Squirrel isgross."

I giggle loudly at Brokenkit's weird dying act. I want to try being like him, too! Flipping over into my back, I wave my paws wildly and stick my tongue out. "Yes, mighty CloudClan, I will be your beautiful deputy. Please heal my paws that hurt Brokenstar, oh ancestors, and give me all the yummy squirrels that Brokenstar won't eat!" I laugh, and then turn my head to the tomkit. "Do you really not like squirrels, though?"

[Blazekit]

Blazekit opened his eye's looking over at the other kits playing. He lifted his head licking his paw. He thought they were playing warrior's but he wasn't quite sure. He wanted to know but he didn't know if it would be rude or not to interuppt there game.

[Sweetpaw]

My head turned, as if on cue, and I noticed another kit watching Brokenkit and I. Another friend? "Hi! Come on over!" I called, still laid on my back and flailing my paws around. "C'mon, I don't bite!"

[Blazekit]

Blazekit sniffled alittle laughter at her pose.He got up makeing his way over."I think we lost another warrior.."He pawed at Sweetkit with a chuckle."I'lll take all those squirrels...since she's dead and all"he tried to be serious but it was hard.

I giggle at his words and roll over onto my stomach. "Hehe! I don't think so! Squirrels are too yummy to give up!" I declared, leaping to my paws and at the tomkit. "I won't let you get away with this! Aaaataaaack!!!"
