mmm, perhaps close friends? cinder has a similar disposition and keeps to herself, being socially impaired. i see this as a friendship that would last, and i suppose they could have a sibling-like relationship, seeing as cinder currently has no blood family. i've already replied to a thread of yours.

maybe he could help her with things she has trouble with and vice versa, and they could be really close, trusting each other with everything. she needs someone who will stick around as her friend no matter what and support her when no one else will. whitey would be all mild and calm but when someone puts cinder down, he's all boom. hulk! it would be really cute to see how they bond and become closer and have a very playful friendship.

I'm okay with any relationships, though you should know he is kind of hard to get through to. But I think it would be good to have another person he cares about. We can see how it works out. Were you planning on having them meet while Aster is still a kit or when she becomes an apprentice? Perhaps it could be an overprotective brother kind of relationship.
