Leaning against the far wall of the castle's commons room was mercenary Beatrice Cytris. She stood in silence, her broad sword and scabbard strapped to her back. The hilt of her broad sword poked out the edge of her cloak for quicker access that wouldn't bring her cloak with it. Her arms were crossed and her eyes remained closed as she waited for everyone to arrive to the small commons room. Her sensory magic branched out as it searched for anyone who was arriving. It had been difficult for Beatrice to come clean about her magic, especially since she was able to keep it hidden for so long. However, the young lady always imagined herself to be a hero of sorts, and refused to stand by while the people of The Judgement ran a muck. Her magic began sensing everything in the room, taking record of the table, chairs, drawers and even the paintings that clung to the stone walls. Her magic mostly sensed the man that sat in the corner of the room, reclined in his chair with his boots on the table.
Beatrice remained silent, deciding not to mention the rude behavior he was showing off to the people of the castle. It wasn't like he was doing too much harm since the room was already a mess from her walking in with her filthy boots. In fact, a trail of dirt lead right up to where she was standing. It wasn't the best thing to do when in a fancy place such as the castle, but she didn't want to go and change her footwear, nor did she necessarily care for the appearance of the room.
Like always, Roy didn't care about the integrity of the room, he mostly cared about his own comfort. To him, being reclined on a wooden chair with his feet kicked up on the table was comfortable. Of course this led to a small pile of dirt being present on the table. As usual, his black hood was up and his navy scarf was tied around his face to hide his facial features. His arms were behind his neck as he leaned in the wooden chair, waiting for more people to arrive. Sure, there was a brown haired girl at the far wall who simply stood there waiting, but that simply couldn't be it. Roy sighed, his right hand drifting towards the scabbard that contained his falchion. It was strapped around his waist on the right side, on his left were the series of pouches and a ring with a few throwing knives. He had nearly lost all his weapons convincing the guards to let him join up with the rest of Mystics, but had luckily convinced them otherwise. The guards along with their commander had been skeptical about letting him join, but a few well chosen words and he was in.
This was the bandit king's only plan to escaped his former alliance of bandits, who all decided to betray, other than Dakota of course. His blue eyes scanned the commons room, seeing paintings, drawers, torch holders and even a small hearth in the far corner. A fire flickered inside the hearth, giving the room a more homey feel to it. His eyes glanced at the door, presuming that the commander placed guards in front of the door, mostly because he had Magic Users and of course the infamous Bandit King. His eyes stared blankly at the door, waiting to see who would enter next.

Dakota was sitting on the ground next to Roy. He didn't really care to look around so he was staring at the ground and forcing flowers up through the fancy floor. He didn't consider that people would be really mad if they found flowers growing out of their expensive floor. Still Dakota coaxed a couple different types out of the ground. There was a small daisy and a tulip and a rose. Daisy's were always really nice, but roses were kind of mean. Dakota just liked talking to them.
When Dakota looked around he saw a girl and Roy. So far they were the only ones there. Dakota shrugged and turned back to the flowers. "How are you today?" Dakota asked them quietly. The rose huffed and in a high pitched voice said, "I don't even have any dirt. This ground isn't good for me." The daisy sighed. "I love it anyways." The tulip just kind of swayed, not saying anything. Dakota looked at Roy's boots and scooped up some of the dirt that had fallen off of them onto the table. He the patted that down around the rose. "Is that better?" He asked. The rose huffed angrily and Dakota smiled, although nobody could see his smile thanks to his mask, nor could they hear the plants talking.

Walking up to the room, Adira braced herself for what she would find. After not having human contact for so many years, maybe walking into a castle was a little too much. Behind her trailed Ignis, watching her back. She didn't feel at ease with humans just yet, and had told Ignis to warn her if anyone tried to sneak up on her. Reaching the meeting room, Adira gently opened the door, cursing herself for choosing the most obvious means of entry. There could be an assassin waiting behind that door, for all she knew. After all, the kingdom wanted to kill people like her. What's to say this wasn't an elaborate ploy to do just that? The tale of this mission that she had heard from Ignis was quite garbled, for Ignis had not heard the full story in his excitement to return the news to Adira. She had only come for the chance to have other children like her be protected. No one deserved her life. Walking warily into the room with a hand on her throwing knife, she was startled to see two males and a female standing or sitting in a tense silence. It was certainly less dangerous than she had expected it to be. Deciding to take the safest position she could see, she leaned against a wall, facing the door. As of now, the danger seemed to be coming from outside, not in. Whispering quietly, she asked Ignis to provide an appraisal of the people. "Well, they sure look like a dangerous bunch to be travelling with. The girl, she has her eyes closed. Either she is extremely confident or extremely stupid. I'm leaning towards the first, since she looks dangerous to me. That weapon of hers, it's in the perfect position to be drawn. A good warrior, if you ask me. The man, he looks dangerous too. I remember hearing a tale of him somewhere. Probably some criminal. And the boy sitting on the floor. There are flowers around him... Probably some flower magic. No idea what's happening with him but he looks to be some servant." Adira nodded in thanks. Ignis tended to pick up weird little things about others, that she herself didn't see too often. It was good to be able to have a second pair of eyes, and a friend. Settling into a comfortable position, she let Ignis land on her shoulder and waited for someone to break the silence.

Pire had been sitting in a cell when a guard had come up to him. They gave him the option to join the Mystics and of course he took it. He had went to his lab first though. He now had an entire backpack filled with different tools and gadgets and parts. It was a pretty big backpack, but if he had tried to stuff anything else in there it may have broken. Pire was now being led down to meeting room. He held in his hand a little clockwork bird. He was working on it and trying to make it fly.
When the guard stopped Pire almost ran into him. He motioned to the door. Pire was confused for a second as to what he was supposed to do, but then he understood that to room was where they were meeting. He put the little bird in his pocket and walked through the doors. He had expected a bunch of people, but so far there were four. Two guys were over in a sitting space next to each other. One had his feet on a table and one had flowers around him. Pire didn't really understand how the flowers got there, but he looked at the other two. The other two were girls and they were both leaning against walls. One of the girls had bird with her. Pire smiled a little.
He walked over to a chair and sat down in it. He then pulled out his mechanical bird and began tinkering with it. Every so often he'd look up at the girl's bird and make an adjustment to his fake bird. Once he used his power to see what would happen if he added gear joints to the bird. When he was finally done he wound it up and let it go and it did fly. It did two swooping motions around the room and then it landed on the ground. Pire laughed and went to pick up his new trinket.

Her magic quickly scanned the area, sensing the three little flowers that were before the boy who sat on the ground and the girl who entered afterwards. Beatrice's sensory gave her an image of their body's frames, but no other defining features that she could use to recognize them. Slowly, her sixth sense watched as the girl with the falcon made her way to another one of the walls in the commons room. Putting herself in a position to watch the door for anyone who enter. Beatrice opened her eyes to take a look at everyone in the room for herself, mostly so she could get a proper analysis. Her eyes glanced at the girl, who almost appeared to be speaking with her animal in a hushed voice. Beatrice ignored them, trying her best not to listen to what the girl was saying. Next she glanced at the two men who had stationed themselves in the sitting area. They both hid their faces in some way, one using the mask, the other a singular scarf to hide most features. She didn't know much about any of the people before her, nor did she have a clue what their powers could be. All she had was a plain guess for the boy who had the plants around him, but nobody else.
That was when she heard it, the familiar tapping of shoes in the hall. Her sensory began to focus on her hearing as it became louder, until the door was pushed open by another man who had entered. The man who entered had a large backpack and his eyes were green. Beatrice watched as he brought out a little bird shaped machine and began working on, that was when she closed her eyes and waited. During her wait, the man who had brought the mechanical bird had wound it up and had it flying around the room. She hadn't been told how many were coming, but she could only guess that this was it, unless there were more late comers. Beatrice quietly sighed and pushed away from the wall. "Anyone know if this is it?" Beatrice asked, her eyes glancing at every face in the room.
Roy's blue eyes looked at the door for the most part, only glancing to see how his friend was doing every so often. At first, he was about to ask Dakota if he wanted a chair, but once he saw the few flowers that had grown up from the floor, he shrugged. He went back to watching the door, only sparing a glance when he saw Dakota's hands get some of the dirt that Roy's boots left on the table. Roy's eyes drifted towards his friend's company, seeing a rose, daisy and even a tulip. Naturally, Roy didn't know a thing about the flowers and had no clue what it was like to talk with them at that. Out of the corner of his eye, Roy saw movement, making him glance towards the door to see a girl with a falcon enter the room. Like the other girl in the room, she walked over to the wall and leaned against it, getting a perfect vantage point for watching the door. He glanced down at his friend for a second, feeling a bit curious. "Hey, Flower, what are your little friends saying?" Roy asked quietly, referring to the three flowers in front of Dakota. That was when he heard the door open again, making him glance back towards the door to see a man enter and immediately sit down at the table.
In his hands, was a machine that he began to work on at once. Roy watched for only a few moments before shrugging it off and waiting for his friend's reply. That was when only a few moments later, the man who had brought in the little machine wound it up, and it began flying around the room. Roy watched the little mechanical bird fly about the room, rather amazed at the amazing thing the man had made. That was when the other girl who had been leaning against the wall took a step forward to ask if anyone else was coming. Roy simply shrugged, none of the guards had really shared any information with him, but it was most likely hectic in the castle with the death of the royal family, so Roy gave no blame to the guards.

The rose had refused to talk to Dakota again after it's initial complaint. The tulip still didn't really talk, except to give off a small sigh every now and then. The daisy only murmured nice things, never anything bad. Perhaps he hadn't chosen the best bunch of companions, but every plant was wonderful. He continued to talk in hushed voices with them even as the door opened and somebody else walked in. He only lifted his head when Roy spoke to him. The older boy used a nickname given to him. Dakota smiled behind his mask. "They aren't saying much." He stated.
"I think the rose is mad with me because I brought them here even though there isn't any dirt. With my powers I could keep them alive, but they just won't talk to me. The daisy is really nice, but they're a little too nice. They only give me compliments." As if to forward Dakota's point the daisy whispered something about how lovely the room was. Dakota continues. "The tulip doesn't even talk. They just sigh and sway a little. They are all pretty interesting." Dakota beamed. The descriptions he gave didn't sound too great, but to him the plants' personalities were still interesting.
When he finally looked around again he saw a girl with a falcon and a guy with a mechanical bird. Dakota turned away from his flowers and with a wave of his hand. All three of them disappeared into the ground. They would pop back up outside in the actual ground, but he didn't want to just leave them in the room to die. He stood up and smiled. Then he saw a girl walk forward. She asked if anybody else was coming. Dakota looked around at the people already there. He stepped over the table and walked towards the girl. "We could always get to know each other while we wait, just in case more people do come." Dakota suggested. He wasn't sure if there were more people coming, but there were already five people there.

Flinching only slightly as the newest addition to their group walked in, Adira watched as the man proceeded to settle down and tinker with a little model of a bird. She noticed the man glance up every so often towards Ignis, almost as if using him as a model. Watching the man with interest, she smiled as the bird took off into the air. "Adira, I like this man. He seems to understand the true beauty of us birds. Look, aren't I amazing!" Adira gently smacked Ignis for his comment. The bird always seemed a little too proud, both of himself and others. Adria agreed with him on this count though. Any man who would create a machine of a flying bird showed a decent amount of respect for them, more than she had come to expect. The girl warmed slightly towards him. Hearing the other girl in the room step forward and asked a question, Adira decided to speak, since no one else seemed to know. The other man and boy both seemed engrossed in their examination of the three flowers, and Adira watched absently as the boy spoke of speaking to the flowers, and then made the flowers disappear. Definitely flower power. Nodding in response to the boy's suggestion, Adira decided to add in her own view. "Well, since we'll have to live with each other for the next few months, I suppose that'll be a good idea. There might not be anyone else coming, after all. Who in their right mind would even want to appear and protect a kingdom that has betrayed them? Only us, and I'm sure all of us here have reasons beyond what we can see." Stroking Ignis to comfort herself, Adira thought about the task ahead of her. It was certainly no easy feat, and she only hoped that something good would come out of it.

Pire had picked up his little bird and was looking at all of the parts. He noticed that one of the fragile legs had broken off upon landing and sighed. He would have to make the legs stronger to keep them from breaking, but he didn't want to make the legs any heavier in case it weighed the bird down so that the wings couldn't support it. Pire was about to go back and sit down at his spot in the room when the girl who had previously been against the wall stepped forward asking about if anybody else was coming. Then a boy in a mask stepped forward saying something about getting to know each other.
Pire cradled his broken bird in his hands as he looked at the two people that had stepped forward. The girl kind of looked like the warriors he had seen around the palace and the boy looked, well, a little crazy. His hair was messy and he was wearing furs and a creepy mask. He didn't seem rude though, just a little weird. Then the girl who had the bird said something about how probably nobody else was coming, but the people in this room seemed to have their own reasons for being there. "I was in prison." Pire stated matter of factly before going to grab his backpack and tools to try creating new legs for his contraption.

Beatrice glanced sideways at the two guys who were talking about flowers, then her eyes drifted to each of the people in the room. Her eyes noticed a lot of the details, mostly because her sensory magic made her eyes usually see better than normal human beings. It wasn't too useful when they were in rooms, such as the commons room, but in places that had straight paths or expansive amounts of flat land, she found she could see for miles. When the boy with the strange mask walked up saying that they should get to know each other, she thought it was a marvelous idea. Shortly after, the girl with the falcon seconded the idea of getting to know everyone here. They were going to be travelling together for a while, which meant that naturally it would be great to know everyone by name and to even know their magical ability. "That's a great idea," Beatrice agreed. She was excited to get to know the Magic Users in this room, mostly because Beatrice hadn't been acquainted with Magic Users before. Naturally, she had ran into a few, but mostly to arrest them for execution.
However, she only took those missions in the Magic User was faced with an executable crime other then witchery. Patiently, she waited for someone to begin, and got an unexpected start to the introductions. It started with the man who came last saying he was in jail. Beatrice's brown eyes gazed at the man, partially wondering if he was a danger to everyone in this room. "Um, care to explain why you were in jail exactly?" Beatrice asked, partially curious herself.
Flowers and their personalities never made sense to Roy. The likely reason being that he didn't share Dakota's power in spawning plants and being able to communicate with them. The concept was very interesting, but to the man who could conjure up illusions, it was strange. Some people may have thought that kid was crazy, but Roy always dismissed the idea and just took it as truth. He watched as his friend rose from the ground, his flowers residing back into the ground, and walked towards the lady with the broad sword. Roy, naturally, didn't think this was a big issue, until he heard the words that came out of his companions mouth. The mentioning of getting to know each other implied there would be questions, and so far Roy had been lucky that none of the people in the room recognized him as the Bandit King. For all he knew, one of them was a living lie detector here to reek havoc on him if a single lie was to come out of his mouth. Roy's blue eyes stared at Dakota, his face a mixture of invisible displeasure, but his glaring eyes were locked onto Dakota.
As the idea got approved, Roy gazed back at his boots, hoping that he could fade away and not get included in this. He wasn't shy, but the last thing he wanted to do was provoke hostility between him and his group members. His mind began to think, until he found a suitable strategy for if they called on him to introduce himself. If he was forced to introduce himself, he would simply stand up and be honest, but there was more to his devious plan then what met the eye. His ears began to pick up the conversation, hearing that someone had gone to jail. His head lifting, noticing that the warrior girl was looking at the one who last arrived. His blue gaze drifted over to the man who was holding his mechanical bird in his hands.

Dakota was watching their small group as they all interacted. He decided they all seemed pretty cool. There was a guy with a cool mechanical bird and there was a girl with a real bird. There was a lady with a big sword that seemed pretty friendly. Roy was being a little anti-social, but when Dakota turned to look at his friend he saw that he was getting a pretty nasty glare. Dakota gave Roy a small, sheepish wave. Just because he was a big thief didn't mean that he had to be such a grouch. Dakota turned back to the others when he heard them talking again.
The girl with the bird said something about living together and the reasons they were all there. Dakota hesitated before he said anything this time, knowing that if he just blurted out that they were on the run from a bandit group that Roy used to run that he would probably get strangled. It seemed that somebody else was ready to say something though, because the guy with the fake bird stated that he had been in jail. Dakota laughed even though he was pretty sure that the guy wasn't joking.

Every place had it's secrets, he had said. If you look closely at any area, anything, even anyone, there was secrets. Look closely, friend, and you will see them, he said. Use it to you're advantage, be aware. Ritika took those words to heart and never let opportunity fault her. There was a difference between being late and being invisible. Some people thing they're one in the same, but if you're present, regardless of exactly where, you're still there, even if you can't be seen. Riti was there, hidden in the shadows on a banister up above everyone. She had drifted across the beams on the ceiling to perch several feet above the group where there was no light. People might have been searching for her with whatever voodoo abilities they had, but she felt confident that being hidden in that location was unexpected enough that it wouldn't be scanned. It was true, she was the last one, but they all thought the man with the mechanical bird was. Riti had entered moments after and squatted there in patience, surveying everything and everyone, taking every detail into account. The robotic bird fluttered into the air and, just to be a nuisance, she let her blue eyes focus on one little leg, bending it ever so slightly, an unexpected gift from a stranger for when it landed. Riti smirked. They began talking then, feeble chit-chat that she wanted to be over. Riti rolled her eyes quickly, brushing her long black hair over her shoulders. "How about we get on with things?" She snapped from above, hidden by her dark black clothes. "What are the terms, where are the bad guys, and when do I get to slaughter them?"

Adira smiled wryly at the man. He had probably aimed to startle her, but she had seen a little too much terror for that. Jail was nothing comparatively. The other girl though, she seemed a little too rattled by it. Maybe she was one of the rare few, innocent and naive. "A good reason indeed, then. If it got you out of jail, then so be it." Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed the man glaring at the boy. Did the boy do something wrong? She hoped that it wasn't one of those slave situations, where the young boy would be beaten up once they got to a private room. Adria made a mental note to send some creature to spy on them, and hopefully alert her if something was going to happen. Hearing a voice from above, Adira's eyes immediately snapped up and saw nothing but a vague shape. Ignoring the girl's words, Adira raised an arm and called for all the creatures nearby, including Ignis. "Find the girl, and bring her down. Don't harm her, for she might be a friend. Still, if she tries to fight, you can kill her." Adira glanced around and saw to her surprise that the castle was apparently quite infested with animals. Ants, to be exact. They seemed pretty willing to help her, and Adira knew that after this was done, she would give them a little treat. Maybe some sugar. Meanwhile, Ignis led the ants to the ceiling and attempted to draw the girl out.

Perhaps Pire should have seen the outcome of his little confession, but he hadn't been around people too much, so his conversation skills were lacking, to say the least. He had assumed that because he knew what he meant others would too, but then one of the girls asked for further explanation and he realized his mistake. "Oh, I was in jail for my powers, not for murder or robbery or anything." He laughed and then looked back at his little bird again. He sat down nearer to everybody else and began fixing the leg.
He began crafting a new leg for the bird that would be more sturdy, but he still needed it to be lightweight in order for the bird to fly like he wanted it to. He was still sitting near the people who had stepped forward when he heard a voice sound above him. He looked up at the rafters where he had heard the voice come from. Pire didn't see anybody up there, but he knew that was where he had heard the voice from. Pire then heard a girl whispering to something he couldn't see.
Despite the mention of slaughter Pire just kind of shrugged the person in the rafters off. The others would probably be all over her soon, so for now he could get some work done on his bird. He hunched over the leg and carefully added some joints and places for it to connect to the body of the bird. He pinched the small thing between his fingers to see if it would break like the last one. It didn't. Pire smiled and began to attach the leg onto his machine again.

The response to her voice was seemingly immediate, which please Ritika to a great extent. She watched the reactions, noting especially the young woman who's lips moved to an invisible creature with an unknown pattern. Across the walls, Riti watched the tiny insects scramble towards her, and smiled devilishly towards them, and then glanced behind her at the slowly rising table she had summoned. "No need, dear," Riti tersely informed the woman who had sent the ants. "I mean no harm for the likes of you all." Though deeply tempted by the chance to send anything an everything towards the approaching ants for the simple exhilaration of it, Riti stepped down onto the floating table and focused her energy on the furniture, lowering herself down into the light. "You may call me Ritika, or Riti if you're tongue is too tied for the long version," the nineteen year-old said, her voice echoing through the room. In the hazy torch light, Ritika's black, semi-fit jumpsuit and her black combat boots were revealed, along with her long black hair and striking blue eyes. As the table came closer to the ground, Riti stepped off carefully, standing before the group with an extremely arrogant stature.

Beatrice noticed the glare that was flashed at the masked boy by the man who leaned in the chair. She brushed it off, thinking maybe the man simply didn't like the idea of introductions. After she asked why the man had gone to jail, the masked boy began laughing. Beatrice glanced side-ways at him, her gaze one hinted with curiosity. A boy who wore a mask that hid his face was something to be curious about, same with the man who wore the scarf. That was when she heard it, a voice from above, which meant someone had to have entered after she had shut off her sixth sense. Beatrice didn't bother to turn her sixth sense back on, since from what the girl said, she could guess she was an ally. She simply listened, her glance straying towards the falcon girl who seemed to be speaking with something. Beatrice's brown eyes scanned the ceiling, but stopped once the table began to float off the ground. Calmly, the brown haired girl took a few steps back out of caution, since the last thing she wanted to have happen was get hit with a table. The mysterious girl from the rafters began to use the furniture as a make-shift elevator into the room.
The girl stated her name, letting it echo into the room for everyone to hear. At once, Beatrice's eyes went through the art of scanning her, which was a rather natural instinct for a mercenary. When the girl, who went by Riti, stepped off the table and went into a stature that suggest arrogance, Beatrice simply shrugged and cleared her throat to get some attention. "If we want to be effect in combat, we have to know each other." Beatrice stated, mostly for Riti who seemed very keen on getting into a fight. "How about this, the rest of us, since Riti has already introduced herself, can state their name, magic and anything else that is useful." Beatrice suggested. Knowing if anyone else had combat experience would be great, and finding out what the other abilities were. Since she suggested it, Beatrice even decided to take the liberty to introduce herself. "I am Beatrice Cytris, but you can call me Bea for short. I am a mercenary for hire, and my magic is sensory." Beatrice explained, waiting to see if anyone else would follow up on the idea.
The sheepish smile that Dakota had given Roy only made him a little bit more mad with the boy. Of course, Roy would never harm Dakota, since he was the only real friend he had, but he would yell at him for this. Not that yelling would have much effect, if Roy were to guess, he had yelled at everyone in the crew probably a million times and if Dakota didn't take a bother to it then, he probably wouldn't now. For the time being, Roy shrugged it off, since he had no choice, but to better fortify his plan for not being executed by the Magic Users in this room, if any of them had some sort of vendetta against his other persona, the Bandit King. His mind mildly paid attention to the conversation, picking up that the man who had gone to jail simply got caught because of his powers. His blue eyes scanned the room over again, trying to find a second entrance for a retreat, if such was needed. That was when he heard the voice of another girl, which caused his eyes to drift upwards towards the rafters. He couldn't see anybody, but chuckled quietly when he heard the girl ask about the slaughter upfront. Maybe he wasn't the biggest of this groups concerns after all.
He watched as falcon girl began to talk to something he couldn't see, and simply gazed over the rest of them. His eyes went back to the rafters as the mysterious girl spoke once again, and the table began to lift off the ground. Roy suddenly realized the table was moving from under his feet, which of course made him act swiftly and put his feet back onto solid ground. He watched as the girl made her appearance, coming down from the rafters on the table. He listened as the girl stated her name was Ritika, but said that it was fine to call her Riti. Once Riti was on the ground, her stature became one of someone with extreme arrogance. Roy easily recognized it, mostly because he had seen that stature in the members of his own crew. He shrugged, if her arrogance didn't get in his way, he didn't really care much about it. That was when the girl with the long brown hair stated her name, and a few other names that included her magic, which was sensory. Roy hadn't heard anything about sensory magic, but considering it had something to do with senses, it bothered him.
