Appearance
Breed: Maine coon x Norwegian forest cat
Adagio takes the majority of his appearance from the maine coon side of his lineage. His general build is very solid, with broad shoulders and a large head – the shape of which he takes from the maine coon. His tail is the same length as his body and quite thick, however it takes on the Norwegian’s soft, flowing fur.
His coat is rather thick and smooth, brushed carefully by his owners to be as neat as possible, and remains the same length up to his neck as chest, where is fluffs out to resemble a mane. His ears also have small tufts of fur on the ends of them. He has a broad muzzle and square-like head, with more angled eyes and a large nose to fit. His whiskers are also exceptionally long.
He has black tabby stripes running all over his body, swirling down his front legs in a barbers-shop sign fashion. His tail a mix of black and brown. His eyes are lime green. He is yet to receive any scars.
His claws are cut, but are naturally medium in length and sharp. His teeth are longer than normal and sharp.

Sexuality: Although he does consider himself asexual, he will allow himself to have a relationship if he feels it to be necessary, as he is not entirely aromantic. However, he will most likely realise his true self later on (*coughgaycough*) but for now, it’s really whoever manages to catch him x)

Adagio is, without a doubt, an egotistical, cocky cat who thinks he can do anything. Any doubts in his mind are quickly pushed aside by his massive pride and constant need to prove himself. Everything considered, this is a huge weakness that can be easily exploited, and he knows this but refuses to admit it. His pride is all he has, and holds it very dearly, not willing to let anything destroy it.
Behind the rather unlikable outer shell resides a rather kind trustworthy, caring cat who can become rather obsessed with the safety of his friends. When with those he trusts, he becomes very teasing and playful, enjoying poking fun before making it up with a few kind words. He is very loyal, retaining the mindset that friends are indeed forever, and doesn't like to lose contact with those he earns the trust of.
When angered, he speaks fast with snappy insults and sarcastic comebacks, relishing every moment of a heated debate. It is quite hard to get to the point of a fight if he isn't out looking for one, but if attacked verbally in the right places, he can easily become enraged and attack with everything he has. If looking for a tussle, he will try to pick out weak points and jab at those until the victim makes the first move.

"She's isn't the most horrible twoleg out there, so I suppose she's okay. Although, the meaty food she feeds me isn't very nice -tastes like old mouse and drain water- so I prefer hunting for myself. She doesn't really pay me much attention aside from the daily feeds and occasional brush and pet, but the fellow twolegs that come every couple days give me a lot of attention, not all of it welcome. I see her leaving the house with my mother in some sort of box every so often, thought I'm not sure what to think of it. None the less, her company is tolerated."

History
Adagio was born to a cat breeder in Twoleg place by his mother, Amadaeus (a maine coon) and a tom unknown to him (Norwegian forest). He was in a litter of four, however his two brothers and one sister were sold before he had the chance to meet them, and he spent the entirety of his kithood only knowing his mother, although he forgot this very quickly after being separated from her. He was originally intended to be an experiment breed by his owner to create a new cat to show just like his mother, but upon not getting the desired outcome of the breed, Adagio was left to be a simple house pet.
Living a rather pampered lifestyle, this did not affect his personality too much, however he did develop a rather large ego, and holds this very dearly. Fortunately for him, his owner didn't fit him with a collar, and he was more or less free to venture off into the unknown territory beside his home, just calling for him to go out and explore…
