I padded into the warriors' den, a long sigh heaved from my jaws. I needed a break. It was just midday, but the day had been busy with patrols and ceremonies. It was still odd for me to think I was able to conduct ceremonies, but it was all sinking in. I went to the center of the den, where the deputy, myself, resided. I was content with the warm spot as I layed down, closing my eyes. But my sleep was interrupted by something stepping on my tail. "Hey. You're stepping on me. I grumbled.

[Dovefur]

Dovefur tasted the air 
She trotted out of her den but than heard a voice
She had stepped on someone again
'hey your stepping on me'
"So sorry"
The blind cat apologized

YOU'RE AN EYESORE.

I CAN DO THIS.

I gave a tiny grumble before sighing, raising my head. "It's fine." I blinked at the cat, recognizing her. "You're one of the new warriors, yes? I remember naming you, though there were so many being named at that ceremony...Dove...Dovefur." I sat up, stretching. "How are things as a warrior?"

Dovefur nodded 
"It's kinda good kinda not
I'm useless because of my sight"
She meowed

I hadn't ever talked to the new warrior, so I had no idea what she meant by her sight. Maybe she had the sight of an elder? I didn't expect she was blind, though. "How come? Do you need help from the medicine cats perhaps?" I was just trying to be a good deputy.
