Beginning Wolf's Training

Embersong stepped outside of her den and breathed in the fresh air. It was finally starting to get warm, the perfect day for her first mentoring lesson. She was excited to meet her new apprentice, Wolfpaw. The young warrior padded over to the apprentice den and peeked her head in. She saw her old nest and smiled, remembering her fun days as an apprentice. Embersong looked around, before calling out, "Wolfpaw, training starts soon! Get some breakfast and we can get going." She waited at the entrance for a bit longer, swishing her tail back and forth, before turning and grabbing a small vole for herself. She didn't want to eat a lot, even though she would only be showing the border lines. Maybe they could get in a few hunting drills before coming back. Eating quickly, Embersong waited by the fresh-kill pile for her apprentice to appear. We should start off with FireClan territory, she thought, smiling. She was gentler on the younger cats than normal Warriors. She recalled her first training lesson with her mentor, when he first called her for training. A breeze rustled her fur around her neck as she waited, and she closed her eyes.

[Wolfpaw]

Wolfpaw woke up quickly to and groomed her pelt before stepping out of the apprentice den. "Morning" she meowed be foreign grabbing a mouse from the fresh kill pile.

Embersong smiled and nodded at her apprentice. "Today we start by touring the territory," she meowed, waiting for Wolfpaw to finish her meal. She looked around the clearing, noticing the guards by the front entrance. Then, she stood, swishing her tail back and forth, ready to get going after Wolf had eaten.
