Azaleapetal had stumbled out of the den after her mate, watching as cats plucked stray kittens from the mess of panicked cats. She peered around, wondering if she should do the same, though she didn't see a kitten to grab. Besides maybe one, Mousepaw.(dunno if you got grabbed or not, whoops if so, haha) Rushing over to the kitten with the roar increasing in volume and pressure, Aza leaned her head down to snatch the kitten by the scruff and carry it to loner territory--if she could outrun an avalanche, which she highly doubted.

He was too slow. It wasn't long before the avalanche was upon Mousekit, his wide eyes filled with fear. He was going to die. There was no point in denying it anymore, especially as the wall of white swallowed him up. It tossed him around like a rag doll, his mouth open in a silent scream. It hurt. He couldn't see or hear anything as the wave continued to roll him. Then it was over. He managed to wriggle his head free in order to breathe. I'm alive. I'm alive. He couldn't help the small smile that graced his lips, but it disappeared a moment later as he realized he couldn't move. The lower part of his body was stuck, crushed by pounds and pounds of snow. No,no, no, no. He would survive. "Help!" He yowled, though he doubted it would help over the rumbling of the avalanche. "Help me!" And help did come. Azaleapetal managed to dig him out. He sagged in her grip, his head spinning with the pain in two of his legs. "Thank you..." |

Robinstar shook his head. "Yeah, I know. But not even you can stand the impact of an avalanche," he cried hopefully over the rumbling. But he knew there was no stopping her. The ducked into the nursery to find the remaining kits as he searched through camp to find any strays. When he came up empty handed, he doubled back to the nursery—but the avalanche hit. He ran. "Lionstrike! Get out, now!" Before he could make it to the nursery, however, it was flattened by the mountain of snow and he was snatched up in its wrath.
He was tossed and turned for what seemed was hours and what felt like all the bones in his body breaking. But when he finally managed to break free, he could walk. He was weak, his mouth full of snow, but he could walk. For a moment he lost his bearings, before tracking down where the nursery was. "Lionstrike!" He took a deep breathe—he needed to get her out before she suffocated. So, he started digging.

The avalanche was crashing into camp, flattening everything in its path. She saw a few cats getting scooped up into the white mass as she struggled to help get the kits out. Her instincts told her she should run—but she wouldn't, not without Lionsmoke. Once more she looked about the clearing for his dark pelt, but she didn't see anything once the avalanche and dragged her into itself as well. She topried to breathe in, to scream, but her lungs were filled with snow and she couldn't move. CloudClan... She thought, sending a silent prayer to Crimsonsky and Falconwing. Then she was out—or at least, part of her was. She couldn't move the lower part of her body, now could she twist enough to dig herself out. She saw a passing cat ( Tanglepelt). "Help!"

The Avalanche was destroying the camp covering it with snow. Cheetahpaw's eyes flashed in panic when the Avalanche had almost covered her body completely. Oh Cloudclan please help us.

I was practically throwing kits out of the nursery one by one, telling them to run as fast as they could. I made sure the queens were able to leave as well. I was about to leave when I noticed something move in the back. "Pinekit!" I cried out to my son, running towards him. I quickly scooped him up, trying to make it to the exit. Suddenly, everything turned black and crashed down.
I covered his body with mine, terrified. This is why I hated snow. I wasn't dead yet, and Pinekit was alright, just scared. I began to shake, looking around desperately. I tried to paw up, but more snow caved in. I was panting at this point, trying to find a way out.
"Help! Someone!" I didn't know if anyone could hear us. But, I heard a scratching from above. I peered up, legs quivering. "Here! Down here! My son..." I looked at Pinekit's trembling figure. I licked him, the area gradually becoming brighter.

Cloudpaw had only recently moved to IceClan to follow his mother, and his move was welcomed by none other than an avalanche. It woke him in the early morning, causing him to stumble to his feet and out into the open. Was this a ritual for IceClanners or something? If so, he wasn't too fond at all. He usually enjoyed sleeping in.
Avalanche? What's that? He looked around with wide, bi-colored eyes as cats began to run towards the entrance, shouts barely heard over the rumbling of the mountain. Not sure of what else to do, the apprentice followed, his stubby legs not allowing him to run very fast. He stumbled over rocks and branches, not familiar with the strange terrain. Why did I move? I want to be back home, in TreeClan.
He missed Wolfpaw, too. The tom paused to look over his shoulder, watching as cats—they seemed so small compared to the snow—got swallowed up in the white. He continued to run, legs burning as he caught up to a female. Without stopping, he glanced at Azaleapetal, and his eyes widened. "Azaleapetal?" What was his sister doing there? He almost stopped, to take it all in (the avalanche, the cries of pain and fright, his sister) but he remembered not to and kept running, following the others.

Dreampaw struggled out of the snow. She kept digging through the snow to the nursery. Digging through the snow, she also saw Robinstar there.

The sounds as the white wave swallowed me up were deafening. The sounds of rumbling increased, as if I was inside the sound itself, and echoed through the snow that rolled me about. I couldn't scream, couldn't shout for help. I had to go with it, let my body limp, for it seemed that if I struggled, I would only lose more energy. So, I let the snow carry me as if I was weightless, tossing my breathless body back and forth, My portion of the snow finally slowed to a stop. I moved towards what I assumed was the open air judging by the lightness of the snow—meaning I must have been fairly close to the top. I dug myself out, a shivering, shaking mess, and brushed the snow from my gray pelt. The camp was ruined. I didn't know where I was or where I could go—I seemed completely and utterly alone. I wanted to cry.
But, as I soon realized, this was not true. A shape was digging through the snow nearby, and it took me only a moment to recognize him as the leader. After regaining my bearings, pushing back my emotional side, I moved quickly towards him over the thick layer of snow. Without a word, I began digging next to him to uncover the flattened nursery underneath. He grabbed the scruff of the kitten, leaving the larger leader to drag Lionstrike out. Today just wasn't a good day, was it? First, I got in trouble for being loud. I wasn't even doing anything! And the next, everyone was running while I was sitting in the corner. No one had told me to go, so I didn't know whether to leave or not. Things sounded scary outside, and I began to tremble. "M-momma!" I cried out when I spotted Lionstrike, who swept me up.
I didn't resist as she hurried to the exit, but then everything was black. I let out a distressed wail, burying myself beneath my thin-furred mother. She was shaking just as much as I was. Suddenly, bright light filled the spot, and I gasped.
Someone lifted me out by the scruff, and I squirmed. "Momma-!" I cut off when I spotted Robinstar. "Daddy! Momma's in there still!" I wailed.

Robinstar nodded to the white-and-gray tabby in thanks as he bent down to grab one of the kittens. The leader paused, horrified to see his son. If he had been any later.. Pinekit could have died. His son's cries wrenched at his heart. "I'll get her." He looked over at Quailpaw, warning in his eyes. "Get him to the border. Keep him safe." He was entrusting his offsrping's life with an apprentice he'd never met before. Hopefully Quailpaw was smart enough to realize this.
He dove back into the hole he and the aprentice had made, grabbing onto Lionstrike's scruff. It took some strength, but he managed to pull her out and lift her onto his shoulders. He left the rest of the nursery up to another apprentice, Dreampaw, who has showed up, and headed to the border.

I was getting too old for this.
My joints were aching from the cold like an elder's would, so I couldn't run as quickly as I wished as I helped cats leave. I was about to leave when I was covered in a thin to layer of snow. I quickly shook it off, pausing when I heard a cry.
I rushed over, quickly unearthing the cat beneath. Wolfmist. "No time for petty arguments. Come on." I grabbed her scruff, trying to haul her from the snow.

Dreampaw went into the nursery. There appeared to be no kits there, but you never know with snow. After digging through the snow piles, it was confirmed that there were no kits left behind. She dug through the snow that had filled in the the snow that Robinstar and Quailpaw had dug. Bursting through the snow, she went to the camp's entrance.

Badgerpaw almost yelled as he saw an apprentice get crushed by the falling snow. He forced himself to go on with the kit in his jaws. He felt bad for leaving the cats, but he had to help this kit escape.
When Badgerpaw reached the loner territory, he set down Dreamkit with some people (maybe NPCs) and sprinted Olympic-style back to camp to help some other cats.

Dreampaw burst out of the entrance. She ran through the territory, to loner territory. After reaching Loner territory, she placed the kit dangling from her jaws down. Panting she looked at some other cats.
