Betrayal is a very common thing...
even from the best of friends Sorrelpaw pushed herself up against her nest, not wanting to get up today. Her nest was so warm and it was so cold outside. Her nest was her new safe haven in this new den. She would have grabbed one in the corner, but they were all already taken. She shook her head. It was time to get up. She had training and had to be up by dawn. She might as well be out early like usual. She sighed softly and pushed herself out of her warm nest, preparing to face the biting cold of dawn. It was getting warmer by the day, but it still wasn't as warm as her nest. She grabbed a morsel of a mouse from the fresh kill pile and settled down to eat. She sighed when she realized that she didn't have to get up. It was a day off. She shook her head and settled down to eat. Ara was tired after coming back from a long day of training. She padded into the apprentice's den and smelled the scent of Sorrelpaw, her shy acquaintance. They had never really gotten along as kits, for she was very shy and wouldn't every talk to Ara. She sighed, and padded over to her own nest to get some shut-eye.

Ara opened one eye lazily as she heard a cat approach her. She was startled when she saw it was Sorrelpaw, a cat who seemed rather shy and didn't really get along with her. "What do you want?" she grumbled, tired.
