Ivykit didn't like it here.
It wasn't the loners- if anything, they made the place more fun. The drama they brought out of the clan was always entertaining. And it wasn't the heat, either, though she hadn't been built to stand it. It was just that this place wasn't home. Or, at least, nobody else thought it was. She'd heard the stories about the old camp. It was impossible not to; the warriors wouldn't shut up about it. But when she hadn't even seen it before, it was hard to imagine that it was supposed to be their home. Wasn't the barn their home? It never felt like it, no, but what alternative was there?
"Uuuugh," Ivy groaned, rolling off her back and pushing herself to her paws. She needed a distraction. She glanced around the camp, emerald eyes narrowing on some poor, unsuspecting soul. She headed towards the cat, and sat nearby, not doing anything. She just stared, very, very hard, and she didn't bother to hide it. Cats were usually more amusing when they were disturbed and weirded out.
She waited for something to happen.

Mothkit was bored. There was nothing to do in the barn or outside. There was not much kits to even talk to or do something with. Mothkit was lonely. Her amber gaze fixed on a cat who was looking at her. Probably another kit with nothing to do.
Mothkit sighed and looked away but then she turned back around again. The kit was still looking at her. "What do you want!" She grumbled.
(Hope you don't mind me posting here)

[[ Not at all! ]]Ivykit withheld a smirk to herself when the other kit finally noticed her and reacted. She shrugged innocently at the other kit's question. "Just looking," she mewed, as though she had done nothing wrong. Technically, she hadn't. "You having a better attitude might be nice, but whatever. I don't really care, so long as you amuse me."
"So, what's your name?" Ivykit then asked, not because she cared, but because it was the customary thing to do. She'd probably forget the kit's name anyway, unless she did something nottable.

Mothkit looked at the another kit carefully but then spoke. "Sorry." She quickly apologized but then thought that the other kit would not care about the apology anyway. Mothkit listened to the kit's words. Amuse her. How am I supposed to do that!
"I'm Mothkit. You?" Mothkit waited silently for an answer from the older kit. What if she thinks I'm boring.

"You're forgiven," Ivykit hummed distractedly, starting to groom herself to show boredom. "I'm Ivykit. Or Ivy. Whatever works." She paused her grooming and glanced up at Mothkit. It was kind of funny, honestly, how quickly the kit had turned from annoyed by Ivykit, to waiting on her every word. It was almost like Mothkit was desperate for her approval. Cute.
"Who's your mother, if you don't mind me asking?" she asked, still making an effort not to look like she cared. "You can't be older than me, so you're younger, right? Ever heard about the old camp?"

Mothkit looked at Ivykit. "Rowansky is my mother." She replied. But then she thought about something. What if Ivykit has the same mother as me? We could be sisters if she did.
One of Mothkit's ears twitched. "The old camp?" She mewed. "I've heard that it was very cold there but nothing I don't know anything intresting." Mothkit murmered. "Probably the warriors think we will have nightmares if they tell everything about what happened." She growled softly.

"So you're one of my sisters, then," Ivykit meowed. "Huh. I guess I could take you under my wing, since you're younger than me." Ivy kind of liked the sound of that- having a little follower that she could show around, tease, all the sisterly things. Could be fun.
"I heard that some cats died there," Ivykit mentioned, fighting the urge to grin. She knew that cats had actually died during the avalanche- she'd heard bits and pieces of the story while sneaking around. She wasn't interested in the truth, though. She was more interested in testing Mothkit, and seeing how easy it was to scare her. "Yeah- the place ended up being cursed, and wolves killed half the clan. Must've been scary. Maybe the wolves will follow us here, too."

Mothkit thought about what wolves were. They must be very scary creatures. She thought. But I'm not scared of wolves! Mothkit thought again. She looked at Ivykit with her amber eyes. "This place is cursed?" Mothkit stared at her sister in disbelief. But then she asked a another question.
"What are wolves anyway. Are they like dogs?" Mothkit had never heard of wolves before.
(Sorry for the late response)

"This place? Nah. The old camp was cursed," Ivypaw shrugged, internally pleased that Mothkit had bought it. It was probably considered rude to try and trick your sister like this, but as lone as it was all in good fun, right? "Though...it is possible that they brought the curse with them...." she added as an afterthought, just loud enough for Mothkit to hear.
"Well, I suppose they are a little like dogs...only bigger," she answered, going mostly off of rumors she had, and then exaggerating for effect. "Like, huuuuge. With eight sets of sharp teeth, nine eyes, and twenty different long claws. They sneak in at night, ripping warriors to ribbons and stealing kits to feed their pups." Ooohoho. This was getting fun.
