Natalia sighed.
"Seriously? I just told you I'm not going to claw your face off." She groaned. "Seriously, what things do they tell you in those clans of your's?" She shook her head.
"You know, it's the cat that makes the name, not the other way around. My name is more of a name you'd expect from a kittypet. But I'm not a kittypet. I'm a rogue in the forest." She pointed out.

give me time and give me space "S-sorry... It's just... I'm shy." Flowerpaw answered to the first thing that Natalia had said, "And the clans frown upon being a rogue, and I've not even finished my training and you're all grown up."
He began to speak again, "Th-thanks... That weirdly makes me feel better." He offered a tiny smile, pale green eyes blinking.

Natalia huffed.
"The clans need to be knocked off their high horse." She sighed. "Though, I can't fault you for your reasonings." They were fair enough, after all. Being a rogue, she had a bad reputation in the eyes of clan cats. Plus, it was true she was older. A stronger threat to the kid than someone closer to his age.
She shrugged. "It's just a fact of life." She replied simply. In reality, she didn't want this kid to go around embarrassing himself and introducing himself as 'Terror' to every stranger he met. Kid should learn to have some dignity.

give me time and give me space Flowerpaw nodded to the first statement in agreement, "I agree... A lot of clan cats seem to think too much of their clans." He purred a little, once again becoming more comfortable around the ginger feline.
"Natalia?" He continued, "It's a little random... But what's being a rogue like? Don't you ever get lonely?"

Natalia cocked her head.
"No. I don't get lonely. I may be a rogue... But I do see the same cats around from time to time." She answered. "Besides, have you ever heard of quality over quantity?" She asked.
She didn't elaborate. She'd leave it at that. But it was true, she'd take Jude over a horde of cats clambering to be her friend any day.

give me time and give me space "Oh okay... I just wanted to know if there were many other rogues. It sounds kind of nice, living without feeling like your clanmates are judging you." Flowerpaw said, his ears moving slowly down and then back up.

Natalia snorted.
"Listen kid, cats are going to judge you everywhere you go. That's just how cats are." She insisted. "There's not a lot of rogues. Your clans are definitely larger in number... But I prefer the lower amount of number." She flattened her ears. "Crowds sound very unpleasant."

give me time and give me space Flowerpaw nodded, "The crowds are unpleasant, He continued, "It's really claustrophobic, especially at moonhigh when I'm in my nest and there's ten other cats all crowded in the same den." He explained, facing upwards.
"But why do cats judge others... I don't get why we all cant just get along."

Natalia listened to him speak.
Seems he wasn't all so suited to clan life after all. Or that just might be a result of him not matching up to the likely strange image of clan cats she had. She always thought of them as sort of... Bipolar, self-righteous, extroverts of some sort.
She huffed. "It's the way of the world. There will always be conflict."

give me time and give me space Flowerpaw sighed. He really wished that there was no conflict in the world... That way he wouldn't feel the need to prove himself so much. It was conflict that made him feel like he wasn't skilled enough, wasn't strong enough.
"I wish there wasn't," He continued, speaking his mind, "Then I wouldn't feel the need to prove myself so much."
-Hey, just asking, you don't happen to have a Treeclan warrior account do you? 'Cause Flower's gonna need his assessment soon and his mentor's not active-

((In Treeclan there is no requirement for your warrior ceremony aside from the necessary post count.
Natalia could sense this kid was just a tiny bit....
Naive. She shrugged. "Then stop caring." She replied simply. "Don't give a crap about what anyone else says." She realized that it was a more... Cynical sort of world view. To stop caring. Make yourself feel better by stop caring.

give me time and give me space -Ah okay, I didn't realise that, thanks-
"O-okay... I'll try." Flowerpaw replied. That was quite a good idea, actually. Next time he met another cat who seemed to find him weak or too shy he'd just shout in their face that he didn't care about their opinions.
"Thanks." He smile turned wider, becoming a toothy grin.
-Ah Flowerpaw's gonna become a right grump now <3-

((Natalia has sagely advice.... For those who are already screwed up and need to get their head straight. Not for decent kids who still gotta grow up!
Natalia was... Surprised.
Was this kid going to actually take her advice? Was not attacking him all it took to gain his trust? Weird kid. She shrugged. "It's not a problem." Actually she was just using this encounter to kill the time. Glancing skyward, she realized that Jude was coming back from the barn around this time.
Her eyes returned to the kid whose name she still lacked. "Now I've got things to do, places to be, and cats to see." Talk to Jude, where Jude was, and Jude. "Nice meeting you, kid." With that, the ginger tabby turned tail and disappeared.
((mmm hope you don't mind me ending it here.
