Cinderflame's fur was bristling with anger.
She had recently had an arguement with another feline, someone she didn't know. How dare that she-cat disrespect her, she had no right to. The black she-cat wanted to have a little chat with her leader. She needed to let him know how his cats were behaving. Cinderflame was about to head out but then she caught the scent of the leader, Fallenstar.
"Greetings, do you mind if we have a little chat about something. There's some things I have to tell you."

About ready to head out Fallenstar heard a voice. His ears pricked and his head turned. His gaze met the figure speaking to him and he tilted his head curiously. He noticed the deputy and he began to get a bit more curious about what exactly was going on.
"A chat?" It didn't sound too serious but obviously it was enough of a problem for the deputy to feel the need to tell him. "Alright, what's up?" His voice sounded attentive, during matters that involved him he was honestly more respectful. Otherwise he could be a bit too laidback.

Cinderflame knew that she had to talk to Fallenstar in a respectful way, even though she liked to snap at cats. The black she-cat dipped her head before she started speaking.
"Our clanmates need to understand that you hold leadership of the clan now. Some of our clanmates have been disrespectful and rude. It's not proper behiever." She spoke rather calmly. "They need to learn to live with it. I dealt with a she-cat earlier who had a bad temper. These cats need to be punished someway. Everyone should know that your word is the warrior code."

He listened intently. "Oh?" The word slipped from his mouth as he listened to her further explain the situation. "I suppose I can see where you're coming from." He could however relate the problem to just cats being hardwired the same way he was. "I can slightly see where there might be some conflict. If I were the cats here I'd be wary of the leader too. They aren't used to me yet, and an even further issue is look at what position the Clan was in for so many moons. Stuck in a run down barn when they could've headed back after the avalanche cleared but they weren't given orders to."
Fallenstar was tempered and stuck in his ways sometimes but he could at times prove himself reasonable. "Although, that doesn't excuse anyone from disrespecting someone in the Clan. Heed them a warning and if they don't listen they can take on the duties of an apprentice. Cleaning the elder's den sound like punishment enough? Set them up with the maturity level they present themselves with."

Cinderflame nodded.
She and Fallenstar were not born into the clan like more of the IceClan cats. The black she-cat had been a loner before, hunting on the plains before she had joined the ranks of IceClan. It was understandable that some cats were wary of the new deputy and leader.
"I will do that if it happens again Fallenstar." She murmured, dipping her head. She had already warned Sunshadow if she was being rude and disrespectful she would be sent to clean the nursery. It was a fair punishment.

"I'm glad you talked to me about this, thank you." He dipped his head. "It's nice hearing you are keeping open ears about the Clan." He could appreciate the fact that the deputy was keeping tabs on the situation of their Clanmates. Fallenstar didn't always have the chance to get knowledge on every single aspect of the Clan.
"We'll handle it as it comes, but for now, how have things been going otherwise?" He knew it'd just been recently since this entire Clan had moved back to it's original territory so tensions could be a bit high with the Clan at the time being.

Cinderflame also dipped her head in respect to her leader. "I try my best." She murmured before thinking of her clanmates. Surely some would eventually get used to the new leadership but she didn't think all would. The black she-cat didn't think that Sunshadow would ever learn to respect her.
"Good, I met another cat. He was a bit more friendly." She started. "Otherwise our clanmates are adjusting. I haven't seen any laziness, every preforms their duties."

"Good... The last thing I'm really looking for from anyone is trouble. I'm trying my best to deliver patience among everyone but sometimes that grows very thin if members of the Clan aren't willing to cooperate. The last thing I'd like is for there to be any animosity between the Clan. I want to build a strong foundation here. Even if that requires me to play it low and be a bit more lenient until I've properly established myself here." He didn't want to push his luck, or anyone's buttons.
"I just hope no problems arise any time soon. IceClan already has things to deal with at the moment."

Cinderflame nodded and dipped her head. Fallenstar had to have his clan learn to trust him as leader or else he couldn't lead the clan. The deputy was sure that eventually the clan would be used to his leadership. Cinderflame was not really friendly to most cats so it was rare to see her happy side. In order to earn the clan's trust she might too have to be friendly and kind.
"Hopefully the other clans will stick to their own territory. The last thing we need is a battle with a whole bunch of cats being wounded."

"Unfortunately we can't be sure of anything." He glanced over to the deputy. "I don't verbalize my opinions often to others but I don't have a particular soft spot for the other Clans. I'd much rather they keep to themselves. I can't say I like them at all to be honest." He had no care for them and maybe that wasn't such a good thing either though.
"Although I'm sure the feelings are mutual."

Cinderflame felt the same way. She didn't really care for the other clans, even if they all died out and only IceClan was left. The other clans could do what they wanted to do as long as none of them take even one pawstep onto IceClan territory.
"The other clans are worth nothing to me." She spoke in a normal tone. "They should stick to themselves and we should also. We don't need any friendships over the borders." Cinderflame didn't want to have to help deal with any friendships over the border. She thought that if a cat did wanted to make friends they should make some in their own clan.
The black she-cat infact disliked the other clans very much. At least now they weren't greedy for territory but who knew when they would.
