scorpionkit purred as he lay by himself by the entrance to the nursery where his dark pelt could soak up some on the sun. things were a lot sunnier these days actually, and a lot of the snow was melting too- was this that 'new-leaf' thing that the kitten had heard of?
as he was resting in the warmth, scorpionkit felt eyes on him, and curled up with his tail, peeking over it to see who was there.

Dawnkit had just entered the nursery again from having a quick bite to eat. He was heading toward his nest he shared with his siblings when he spotted a kit laying in a nest. He was peeking at the cream-colored tom, so he padded closer to his nest, turning his blue gaze to it before settling in it.
"Hey, there," he meowed as he settled in his nest, addressing the cat from a distance.
