Plumkit stretched her jaws in a wide yawn, dark tongue lolling out. She was bored. So bored. Very bored. "Bored-y bored bored bored-y bored," the fluffy kitten mewed in a sing-song voice, skipping around the nursery as she looked for something to do. She stopped suddenly as she spotted Pipitpaw, eyes gleaming with mischief. Crouching like a cat hunting, Plumkit began to sneak forward, then pounced towards her sister, trying to tackle her to the ground, "boo!"

Pipitkit was playing with a feather, taping on it and batting it. She was having quite fun until she got bored after a while. Pipitkit stretched her jaws and yawned. No no, I'm not tired! I don't need a nap yet.' Then suddenly another she-kit snuck up behind her, scaring Pipitkit half to death. She leaped up, letting out a squeak. Once she landed, the she-kit narrowed her eyes at her sister, Plumkit. "Plumkit, that wasn't funny." Pipitkit spoke crossly.

Plumkit laughed at her sister's fright. "Oops," she grinned in a not-so-apologetic manner, flicking her sister's shoulder gently with her tail, hoping that she hadn't been too angered by her little joke. "Do you wanna play with me?"

Pipitkit shrugged. "I guess it was pretty funny." She admitted before her eyes lit up at her sister's idea of playing a game. "Sure! Do you have any in mind? I have an idea but I want to hear yours first."

Plumkit smiled, doing a little twirl as her sister admitting her joke was funny. "Oooh, there are so many good games," she bit her lip, having a hard time deciding on just one. What if she picked the wrong one! Plumkit pouted. "Hmmm, we could play warriors?" she mewed, looking to Pipitkit to see if she had picked the right game.

A smile spread across Pipitkit's face as her sister suggested the game 'warriors'. She had already played it recently with her brother Kitekit but the young she-kit didn't mind playing again. "Sure! I'll be Pipit.... Ummm Pipitleaf? Is that an ok name?"

Plumkit grinned, proud she had picked a game her sister liked. "Oooh, that's a good name!" she mewed, trying to think of one for herself. She didn't know that many warriors; she knew her mama and Rainlight and Oceanstar--but Oceanstar wasn't even a warrior. Plumkit frowned, trying to think of a name. "I'll bee... Plumskip?" she tipped her head to the side, wondering if that name suited her or not.

Pipitkit smiled, happy that her sister liked the name. "I want it to be my warrior name once I'm one but I think daddy gets to decide on names, I hope he picks good ones for us." She let out a purr. "Plumskip is a good name."

"It's a nice name, I'm sure if you ask daddy he'll let you have it!" Plumkit purred, giving her sister a little nuzzle. She couldn't wait until they were warriors! Then they wouldn't have to pretend to be anymore! The white kitten flushed proudly as Pipitkit complimented the name she had chosen. "I don't know if I'll want it to be my forever-name, but mama has -skip in hers and I wanna be just like mama when I'm a real warrior!"

Pipitkit's eyes shined. "I can't wait to be a warrior! It will be fun patrolling and hunting for our clan mates." She exclaimed. "Really? You think he'll let me have it because that would be awesome!" Pipitkit liked the name Pipitleaf. It was pretty but she wasn't sure that the suffix 'leaf' suited her. "I'm sure mama will like it."

"Yeah!" Plumkit pipped up, "and we won't have a bedtime anymore! And we'll get to go to gatherings! It's gonna be so much fun!" She grinned from ear-to-ear, imagining doing all these things with her siblings--and her parents too! "Of course!" Plumkit's tailed wagged in a dog-like motion, "I'm sure he will! The name suits you," she smiled. She didn't really know what the -leaf suffix meant, she had never met a cat with it before, but the name sounded pretty and Plumkit thought her sister was pretty--so it had to fit! "I hope so!" the fluffy kitten mewed brightly, a hint of pride in her voice.

Pipitkit nodded. "I'd love to go to a gathering! I really want to know what the other clans are like because some of the stories the cats around here tell are sometimes not true. I want to knew the truth!" She exclaimed. "I hope he will." The kitten meowed before scanning her surroundings. "So wanna start the game?"

"Me too!" Plumkit purred with excitement, "I heard IceClan cats have gills! And that TreeClan cat's have big puffy tails--just like squirrels!" the she-kit giggled at the thought, turning to her sister with a curious grin, "do you think it's really true?" FireClan will always be the best clan though, she thought to herself, perking up when Pipitkit mentioned the game. Right! Plumkit had nearly forgotten that they were supposed to be playing. "Yes!" she cheered brightly.

Pipitkit's eyes widened. "What if IceClan is full of fishcats, fish that have ears, legs and whiskers." She let out a small giggle at the idea. It was probably not true, "I heard that TreeClan cats climb trees just like squirrels so they might have puffy tails." Pipitkit squeaked. "I don't think IceClan cats have gills though." She then smiled. "RockClan is attacking the nursery!"

Plumkit scrunched up her nose, imaging a clan of fishcats and how gross they would smell! Blech. "I wonder if they have bucked teeth as well," the kitten with in a almost teasing tone, forgetting about fishcats and imagining silly-looking TreeClanners instead. "But why else would they like to go into the water?" Plumkit questioned. She liked playing in the rain, but that didn't mean she was gonna jump into a river anytime soon! She didn't understand the appeal.
Plumkit jumped in surprised when her sister announced that RockClan was attacking the nursery, momentarily forgetting that they were playing a game. She quickly regained her composure, blushing lightly and hoping Pipitkit hadn't seen her faulted. "Oh no!" she squealed, getting into character, "we have to protect the kits, Pipitleaf!" She glared towards the invisible RockClan intruders.
