[Wrenpaw]

(( haha i changed my mind last minute making the thread and figured this would be more interesting ;; @maybelle ))

Wrenpaw hadn't started training just yet, so instead he had been mapping out the territory for himself; he figured the more knowledge he had of the territory the more steadily his training would go. The other apprentices had been talking about some two-leg ruin on the far side of the territory, towards loner territory. Which didn't sound like the safest place to be, but Wrenpaw had always been intrigued by the constructions of the bipedal creatures.

Upon first glance one could obviously tell that nature had done quite the number in reclaiming the structure, but it was still a sight. Padding forward he found himself climbing upward, step by step. The two-legs had carved out some sort of smooth stairs that led into a bigger room, of which Wrenpaw paused in, his amber gaze falling over every bit of the structure. Hesitantly he reached out a paw and felt the cool stone walls that were now covered in ivy and mosses. "What a creation..." He mewed, thinking he was only talking to himself and not yet realizing there was another cat behind him.

May had been walking around the forest for quite a while and had eventually wound up at the Ancient Crumbling Temple where she noticed another cat also was. "Go in there and you'll get lost," she warned. She normally didn't care to warn cats of anything, but she figured her life would be a lot easier if the clan wasn't put into a frenzy about a missing apprentice. "It's just a gigantic maze made to get cats lost. She herself had never gotten lost in there, but the one time she had check it out she hadn't gone that far in, only far enough to realize that if she went on she might not be able to find her way back. A few other cats had confirmed that for her a long time ago.

Wrenpaw jumped and spun around, unsheathing his claws with his neck fur spiked in surprise. Although Treeclan scent soon hit his nose and he let himself relax, sheathing his claws again and letting his fur lay flat again. Sighing he mewed, "Thanks for the warning," Before he turned around again and peered into the tunnels. They smelled damp, dark. He had also heard that if a cat managed to find their way through the maze they would end up in loner territory; which wasn't particularly something he wanted to do either. But the idea taunted him.

"I'm sure it's easy enough. Just have to somehow mark where you've been so you can find your way back."
