69 Gathering

Fear gripped Batclaw's heart. So it was true other's had seen it. He let out a sigh of relief thankful he had not gone crazy. The warrior glanced at a fellow RockClanner, and nodded his head in silent agreement. "I will fight until the end, no matter the cost." He replied just as bold as Coalfire in a sense he was backing up her comment.

She stared at Coalfire, impressed. She was right; they had to fight what was coming, not give up all hope like a couple of cornered mice. They were warriors, so they had to act like warriors.

Blackflame had slipped into the small crowd of cat's just before the strange she-cat had given the warning. His maw was open wide with shock. Was this truly the end of the Clan's? He looked around at all the cat's, seeing the same look of shock displayed openly with their features. Ears pricked he listened to Coalfire's short speach, he was proud of his sister. Every word came from her heart. He nodded his approval like he saw many other cat's around him doing.

Coalfire's eyes still burned and smoldered with her pride, she heard the murmurs of approval, but somewhere inside she knew that this was bad very bad, but then, it had to get better after wards right. Coalfire stared to get embarrassed and looked down at her paws. A cold fire burning in her vanes. At the same time the warmth of embarrassment flushed over her.

Sunblaze walked up and took beside Blackflame, hopping noone would notice her. She gave Coalfire a happy look and sat up straight proud of her daughter.

i look around the clearing "why did it haft to happen why cant things just go back to the way they were" i say to my self.

She nodded "Coalfires right we all have been through alot and we will get through this no matter what kind of disaster comes apon us."

i was happy that ever cat was going to do ever thing they can to get threw this.

"It's to bad my life is over...." I grumbled.

EAglewind just stood there not knowing what had happened.

She hissed lightly at solarshine. "No its not"

"I can't battle anymore....can't even see. The only thing I can do is sleep and hunt. That's nothing important....." I looked at back her.

Coalfire got to her paws and hissed, "You can do what ever you put your mind to. If you can't fight, hunt. If you can't hunt, fight. You are a WARRIOR! Never forget that. A true warrior would never give up, on his clan, his friends, or himself. Every cat here heard and saw what happened. I know you heard it even if you couldn't see it." she empasied on not being able to see. "If you where even half the warrior that some of these other cats are, you would understand, and you would still fight! Never give up. Never back down." her final two sentences where for all of the cats in the clearing. Some of them needed to be told to open their eyes and see through their hearts. Coalfire mewed one last thing to where only Solarshine could here, "You need to wake up and realize the world doesn't revolve around you Solarshine." Shaking her head, eyes blazing with renewed fire she returned to her seat.

Blackflame simply glared at Solarshine. The little he had seen of the selfish tom had been enough. "We all have to face this Solarshine. Don't think this onlu effects you." He warned the senior warrior boldly. He then focused his attention back on the leaders.
