Willownight nuzzled Solarshines shoulder, in what appeared to be a friendly way. Could it be something more though? Willownight didn't even know herself, she comforted her friend. "Solarshine, just because your blind doesn't mean you can't fight. That's like saying because I'm blind I can't fight. Trust me, your strong enough."

I completly ignored Coalfire, Willownight and Slivercloud and looked straight at Blackflame. "I never did say that it was all about me....did I?" I growled.

I rested my tail tip on hus shoulder and said gently, as I always did. "Solarshine...it's not worth it."

Blackflame held his gaze amber eyes glittering with annoyance. Tonight was a truce he would not break it. "You don't have t say it out lid, everyone can tell by your actions tha your self-centered." He spat.

Blackflame snorted in disbelief. The tom cat kept going around and around in a circle, always dwelling in self-pity. "Forget it Solarshine. What I'm trying to say is there's better things to be concerned about then yourself. Like the safety of our Clanmates." He explained the anger dissolving from his eyes.

"Why should I be worried about my clanmates? I'm a loner all the way through. I could never be a real clan cat. So that means I don't have to worry about everyone while I'm stuck with the elders. My inner cat has been sucked out and I act more like a lazy kittypet. I came to the clanz for someone to change me...and no one has even gotten close. And since everyone thinks its funny to insult an elder....I might leave, so I can just wacth my mom slowly die and my dad doing some crazy thing and get hurt all the time. No one even listens to what I try to teach them. When I'm the smartest cat here!" I growled and went to leave the gathering.

Guilt washed over Blackflame as he watched Solarshine get up to leave. He hadn't meant to hurt the senior warrior that badly. The jet black warrior calmly got up and walked over to Solarshine.
"Look I'm sorry maybe I was a little bit harsh. Your not the only cat who's gone through some rough times, just keep that in mind. I hope you stay for the Clan's sake your a valuable warrior." These brief sentences were whispered quietly in Solarshine's ear so it would not be overheard.
He carefully took a few steps back to give Solarshine some well needed space.

"My times are rougher than anyone here....How do you think I became blind?" I stopped midstep, took a deep sigh and looked at him. "How do you think why I'm so messed up like this? Its not my fault im so mean." I sniffed around for something after I asked him that.

Blackflame rolled his eyes this tom was anything but easy to talk to. "You can choose to be nice or ill-tempered. Yes, your experiences may have effected you in a negative way but move on. As for your blindness I haven't the slightest idea how you got it." He was indeed interested in how Solarshine had become blind. But he would let the senior warrior explain when ready.

"I was trained to be so mean Blacklfame. Being trapped by Acidfang is a hard thing..but he didn't make me blind....an old friend did.....More of a half friend...we hated each other but...she died quickly." I smirked.

He nodded in understanding Acidfang had been widely known for his evil persona. "So I suppose Acidfang kitnapped you? Who exactly was your half friend that made you blind?" The questions tumbled out of his moth making him feel like a kit again.

"I don't speak of what happened. If you want to know......I have to earn your trust back." I found what I was looking for..a black stone, big enough for a cat to lay on, Solarshine lied down on it and blended in.

Willownight was still padding after him. She jumped up with ease onto the rock next to him, she wanted to cheer him up because he always seemed down. "Solarshine, are you okay?"
