Sleekkit laid next to his mother, Oakspirit. He yawned Quietly. At his such of a young age he was very intellengt, exremely. Yet, Sleekkit could be a bit of a crank on certain occasions if you will. Sleekkit opened his eyes and peered around through the den. He took his observations, and put everything together, It was morning, and Leafbare seemed to have gotton worse.

From His Distants he could see the fresh sleet of snow on the already frozen forest floor. He Licked his was and clensed him self, he took his time, he had to look the least bit presentable. In the Coner of his eye, he saw movement. It was fast and quick on its pause.

As coursoity took over his mind he stoped cleaning him self. Sleekkit was not a Trained apprentice, but he'd been watching thier movements and had seen thier flaws. He Stalked towards the object, hardly seeing it because of the shadow in the den. He Squinted his gaze and saw it was a mouse.

Sleekkit looked confused at the fact. What type of mouse in Leafbare would even dare to go inside a den of hungrey cats. I'd assume Prey gets stupid and stupider. he though. Sleekkit wanted that mouse.

He knew when he set his mind to something he would suceed. He gazed at the mouse the only thoughts running threw his mind were, I've got to catch that mouse. He stared at it a moment longer. Sleekkit looked carefully seeing if the options the mouse had if it were to espcape. He crouched low waggled his haunches and took a guessing leap. By Somewhat miracle he caught the mouse. He looked at the other witness for thier reactions.

Emeraldkit was in the other corner in her snow nest. She saw the flawless catch the kit made. that mouse had no chance! She didn't say anything but just smiled. Emeraldkit knew that kit would make a fine hunter some day. Emeraldkit wanted to be a great fighter. But she had to learn when she got apprenticed. She looked back at the kit with the mouse. A very respectable catch.

Sleekkit looked at the mouse. It's Blood seeping off of it and into his paws. He couldn't help to smirk a bit. He licked his paws clenseing them so his paws would stop dirting. He turned around and face the She-cat on the other side of the den. Sleekkit held his tail held high and trotted over to her with his mouse. He set it down. Sleekkir; himself sat down and curled his tail around his paws purring. "What should I do with it?" he questioned her. Supose his coursosity would geting the way once more.

Emeraldkit thought for a moment."We should either eat it or put it on the fresh kill pile." She replied to the tom. Emeraldkit looked at the mouse. She had never tasted mouse before. Maybe this other kit hadn't either. They could try it and finish it without Harrowingpride or Oakspirit knowing. But maybe that wasn't the right thing to do. Emeraldkit gave a slight shrug.

Sleekkit thought about for a minute. When ever warriors or apprentices caught prey they put it in the Fresh-kill pile. He listen to his stomac growl, but it was his catch he derved to eat. Maybe I should Share it so I don't look so self-fish. Sleekkit exited his thoughts and looked at Emeraldkit, "How about we share this mouse?" He purred trying to sound as friendly as possible.

Emeraldkit pirked up."Alright! I have never tasted mouse before!" She meowed. Emeraldkit let Sleekkit take the first bite, only to be polite. Emeraldkit backed up a little and gave a curt nod for him to take first bite.

*She licked her lips.She knew that she couldn't take it.She walked over to the freshkill pile.She took a vole.She then went back to her nest and began to eat.She didn't share cause Emeraldkit was going to share the mouse with Sleekkit*

Emeraldkit looked over a Lavenderkit with the vole. "Good now everyone will be fed." She meowed quietly and lied down to take a bite of the juicy mouse. her mouth watered but Emeraldkit waited for Sleekkit to take first bite.

Sleekkit nodded . He dipped his head in Thank-you. He sniffed the mouse and took a bit. It wasn't a big bite. It was only a little bit. Sleekkit licked his lips as the blood was on his lips. He smiled. It was great. The best thing he'd ever had in his lifetime. It made him want more. Sleekkit tapped her shoulder telling her it was her time. "Don't worry, it taste good." he purred to his best friend.

He glance at the other kit laying down next to Emeraldkit, he shook his head. "I am Sleekkit." he mewed prodly.

Emeraldkit shook her head."He is Sleekkit." She meowed kindly to the she-kit. Emeraldkit turned her attention back on the mouse. She couldn't stand waiting but Emeraldkit wanted to be nice to Sleekkit.

Emeraldkit smiled and took a bite of the mouse. it was the best thing she had ever tasted. The blood was warm and the flesh was a bite of heaven. Emeraldkit licked her lips."That is amazing!" She meowed.

Sleekkit waited patiently waited for Emeraldkit to take a bite. He rested his tail on his shoulder. Sleekkit smiled at the center of peace. He did not let his thought wander.

He smiled to Emeraldkit. "Told you he purred." he took a bite. Sleekkit relaxed a bit

Emeraldkit closed her eyes and smiled. The mouse was amazing. She opened her eyes back up and let Sleekkit take another bite.
