Shatteredkit woke up, sunlight greeted him. It had seeped through the Nursery entrance. He smiled and stretched, he opened his jaws into a big yawn. Then padded out of his nest. It was Sunhigh and the Camp was super busy, apprentices training inside Camp, some apprentices leaving for training.... Warriors rushing around everywhere. Kits playing in the Nursery clearing. He smiled again warmly. Then walked over to the Prey-pile and took a big, plump juicy thrush of the top. He sat down and ate it hungrily. After that Shatteredkit was very very much full. He looked around and spotted a flat smooth big rock and laid down. He closed his eyes and let the sun warm him.... He soon fell into a deep, deep dreamless sleep. A sleep that he hadn't had in a long while....

It's going to be a good day. That thought came from the brilliant mind of Redfoot, a black-furred Senior Warrior belonging to FireClan.
The sun rose simply in the East of FireClan territory, warming the great prairie landscape. Light swept across the territory, as well. The sky was a beautiful shade of light blue, like usual. There were a few clouds gathering, sending hope of rain through the Clan.
Redfoot yawned, her jaws opening to reveal a sharp set of pearly white teeth. For a moment, the thought of staying in bed crossed her mind, but she slowly sat up, and began grooming her black, now messy pelt. She insisted on looking nice, as always. As she cleaned herself, she thought about old times, old friends. She thought about Treasurehunt, mostly. Oh, how she enjoyed that she-cat! Then, her mind rushed to Clawfur, the new mother. She stopped and smiled slightly, happy for one of her best friends. Then, she stood up, an idea rushing into her mind.
What if all the friends met up? It could be fun! She looked around, not seeing Treasure, Snake, Hawk, or Leo anywhere. Of course, Sparrowfur and Clawfur would be in the Nursery, but the others? SHe walked out of the den, sighing as the heat reached her. It was nearly Leaf-Fall, and it was hotter than ever! The she-cat grabbed a quick bite to eat, a mouse, and headed to the rock where Clawfur often hung out, hoping a few of the cats would be there.
"Heelloo?" she meowed, rotating her neck around, not seeing anyone.

The harlequin couldn't sleep at all. Inside the nursery, it was hot and cramped. Definitely not her cup of tea. Willowkit longed to feel the rush of evening air, and watch as the sun went down. So that's what she had to do. Carefully getting up, she made her way through the nursery. Cries of 'Umph!" 'And watch it!' rang out as she stepped on a few tails and paws, maybe even a head a one point. But that didn't matter, they would forgive her later. Bursting into the clearing which was Iceclan's camp, Willowkit gulped in the fresh air. "I'll never take this camp for granted again." She murmured and looked around. Although it was time or kits to settle down, she still had a ways to go before all the warriors were in their nests. Settling down at the edge of the clearing in shadows, where she didn't have to worry about someone finding her, Willowkit watched the sunset. It was pretty, but she especially liked the colors. They were gorgeous. Sighing as the last lights faded, Willowkit wanted to go back to her den. But some sort of tug kept her out, as so she continued o lay back and relax, just thinking. Eve though this sort of thing was boring, it made her happy. She could clear her mind, think with more clarity with the chill of late leaf-fall keeping her mind sharp. She saw the colors fade and turn to gray. Get darker and darker, until they had faded altogether and all that was left was a curtain of midnight blue. Then, some pretty white things began to appear. What were they? Oh yes, stars. Even more beautiful then she had heard, the illuminated the dark night. And the moon, though not full was still magnificent. Was this what cats slept through each night? If so, Willow never wanted to sleep again. "It's just. . . amazing. And beautiful."

Snowkit was walking around in the nursery, bored, all of her old friends were much bigger than her and had moved to the apprentice's den about 1/2 a moon ago. She was messing around with a pebble to pass time, but the pebble rolled out of her reach, toward the center of camp. Snowkit stared at the pebble for a while, then felt something on her back, it kinda tickled, when Snowkit turned her head, she saw a spider crawling along her back. Snowkit yowled at the sight of it, she wasn't thinking straight, and she clawed at her back, the spider crawling down her tail. Snowkit clawed at the spider forgeting her claws actually weren't unsheathed, so she was only pawing at it. The spider crawled off of her tail and toward the entrance of the nursery, and Snowkit bounded after it, finding the pebble from earlier. She ran past apprentices clawing at the spider, "Come back here!" Snowkit yowled at the spider, who was minding its own buisiness. She bounded past the warriors den, then the medicine cats, then the elders. She was running all over camp every wich way to catch the spider. Snowkit was only a tail length away from the spider when the spider crawledd out of camp, toward a nearby patrol that had just left camp. "Stupid spiders.." Snowkit murmered to herself as she walked back to the nursery.

[copied from my thread]
He opened his eyes gingerly, small paws tucked neatly under his fluffy chest. It was already morning, according to the lightened sky and the chirps of various song-birds outside. He was tired from staying up too late the previous night, also. Maybe it was watching the moon that had intoxicated his senses and made his keep forcing his pastel-blue eyes open. Yeah, that was probably it. It had been a while since he had slept decently, a while since he had noticed the brilliance of the night sky. Like it's a beautiful blanket of colour and sounds.. He mumbled to himself, cream tabby pelt swishing about in the wind.

Flamekit was wandering around the Camp, he made sure his forrest green eyes took in everything they could. He smiled, his first day out! He suddenly spotted a big puddle. He remembered the rain last night and his smile widened. He padded slowly towards the muddy puddle, his eyes flashing playfully.
Suddenly he sprinted forwards and leapt up into the warmish air. He landed in the middle of the puddle with a splash! Flamekit smiled again, the puddle went up a little past his belly..... But since he had splashed in it, there was mud on his back and a little of his head too. He padded out of the puddle and backed up, ready to do it again when his eyelids suddenly started to droop. He was super tired!
Flamekit made it back to his warm little nest and instantly fell asleep. He dreamed of flinging himself in the icy river to save a little kit.

Hummingkit layed in the mossy nest of his mothers, Ivycloud. He tucked his nose under his long brown tail. He heard the hummingbirds outside. As he listened intently, he stood up and walked out of the nest. He pushed his way out of the nursery and into the clearing. He than saw the hummingbirds up in a tall tree. He smiled as he gazed up. He saw one of the small birds fly up to the sky. 'One day that will be me' he thought. 'I will thrive and fly to the sky'

Blizzardkit woke up from his nap. His eyes blinked open to see the plain ol'nursery and to his mother laying right next to him. He took a deep breath and then let it out. He stretched out his body, a big yawn came out of his mouth. He sat up and shook off the green moss that he slept on. He wished he had friends. He was lonely and sad because of that problem. He stood up and slowly padded around the den looking for someone to play with. "Hello?" He squeaked.

It is cold outside, and yet here I am. Watching the camp, unseen, like what my name is, an owl. I licked my fat stick tail, and felt a small shiver grow inside of me as the wind blew. Today was nice, cold, but nice. Lots of birds to watch, and scents to smell. Speaking of scents, my head lifted, and I stumbled over to a bush. I sniffed, fighting back the cold as I walked into my fimilar hding place, it smelled like another cat. The bush had a bunch of mint growing benith it, like a soft good smelling bed, and it went up tall and thick around the mint. I curled up in the small bed, and fell asleep in the cold frost, as it settled on my white pelt.

The morning was cold, the breeze chilled every cat in its path to the bone. The leaves blew wildly, the ones that were still on the trees at least. Only a few stragglers remained on the branches, popping out at you here and there. The black branches clawed at the dark sky, and snow fell heavily. All the kits were snuggled up, except for one.
Hazekit hated herself. That caused her to stomp on the ground disrespectivly, the ground being the cats. No, Hazekot wasn't that mean, she usually was quiet, sweet, and shy, though she did hate herself. The tri-colored she-kit sat in the Nursery entrance, snowflakes building a pile on her nose only to fall away like tears, melting into her fur.
Hazekit sighed and lashed her tail. It was her first leaf-bare and it wasn't going well at all. The cats seemed to be hibernating like bears, and nobody was awake to play or to talk with. Hazekit would be glad for anyone at this time, even obnoxious ol' Pinekit.
Hazekit's different colored orbs searched the back of the dark den, giving a simple flick of her black-tipped tassel. No sound came from the den, so Hazekit decided to entertain herself.
She stood up with a jerk, and searched for a leaf, a bug, anything. And what she saw was a bug. A beetle. Hazekit shrugged. It'd have to do. She crouched down and wiggled her haunches in the air, and pounced. She missed the beetle by a tail-length, but scooped it up with a paw, then threw it on the ground. The beetle seemed injured, but it still scuttled around.
Hazekit cocked her head, sure that the beetle was dead. But no. It wasn't. I wonder what beetle tastes like. she thought. She lapped it up quickly, feeling its richly legs on her tongue. Hazekit crunched it, then swallowed. "Hm. Not bad." Hazekit said with a shrug and a widening smile.

Falconkit strolled around the nursery happily. He was only a quarter moon old, and a delight to the queens. He was happy here. But he still needed friends. "Hello?" he called. "Who's there?"

A rustle in the moss. Silence. Another rustle, and some increasingly annoyed mews. Finally, a head pops up above all the stringy moss. The small gray-and-white she-kit had lost her mossball within all of the moss in her nest, and now sat down, with an annoyed mew. Her gray-tipped tail flicked, and her ears twitched, as her clear blue eyes scanned the nursery for anything interesting to do. She laid down, a dramatic, bored sigh escaping her, as she watched the nursery. Nothing interesting seemed to be going on. Well, nothing interesting enough to tempt the she-kit. A small dot on the corner caught her eye, and Ivykit curiously bounded over, ears pricked, whiskers twitching, to see what it was. A large black spider was crawling along the floor, and the she-kit batted tentatively at it. When it didn't react, she grew fiercer, batting at it again, with more force. "I'm gonna get you, invader!" she declared, pouncing on the bug again.

"Strong, brave, confident," Fadedkit told herself with a yawn, stretching from her desk and gazing around with wide set blue eyes. The somwhat mature kit told herself this to start off every morning, trying to stay the same everyday. She just wanted to be useful, a little more useful than some clumsy, tiny kit. The multi-colored she-kit grunted as she felt something land on her dainty paw. Rolling her eyes, she felt the familiar legs touch her skin, sending tiny shivers down her back. "You know, I have to deal with you every morning, and I'm sick of it," she growled lowly at it, dangling it from a paw toe in front of her face. It seeme to be enjoying itself, though. Smiling a weak, tiny smile, the small kit touched her paw to her shoulder, letting her new friend crawl onto her back. With her proud, tiny head held high, she carried the black spider on her back, padding with a grin towards the den exit. Finally getting towards the edge of camp, she used her paw to touch her shoulder. The spider soon climbed onto it again. With a mew of goodbye, she touched her paw to the ground, and let the spider slide slowly off. She watched it scurry away. "Yeah, be free," she sighed sadly, jealous of the little creature. It got to roam everyday and have new adventures. It wasn't stuck in the nursey like her. Well actually, it had been...but that's besides the point. She just wanted to be free, to run through the territory with the wind brushing against her pelt! "I'll wait...I'll wait," she mewed to herself calmly, strutting again with her head held high towards the nursery.

Moonkit woke up from her long nap next to her mother, Shadefrost. None of the other kits were up. 'I guess I had a bad dream.' the kit yawned. Moonkit peeked her head outside of the nursery to look up at the stars. "They're so beautiful. The full moon, the stars..." Moonkit whispered with her head up at the sky. A gentle breeze was blowing on Moonkit's grey and black fur. Her eyes shimmered with the light of the moon. "I should get back to bed." Moonkit padded into the nursery, curled up, and fell asleep, thinking of the beautiful night sky.

For Ivykit, people were not her most favorite things in the world. She could meet up with just about any person in this world and not like even one. She stopped and tilted her head. Instead of having a friend, she wanted a sister'. Someone who was likeable and someone she agreed with. Yeah, a sister would change everything.
