She grinned, but her eyes tried really hard to mask a seeing pain and unease; that she hadn't told Stoney, her best friend ever, about the secret she shared. But she had to, right? Friendship was based on trust. And where was trust if there wasn't any honesty? |

Dogpaw nodded softly, grinning with a pleased look. “Yes, I am a bit .. And Stoney? I'm sorry I made things awkward. I really am. I'll push it off until I've been a warrior for a while.” She said sweetly, smiling like that moment had never happened. |

Stonepaw laughed, "It's fine Dogpaw we will always be best friends." The tom walked over to her side and brushed pelts. His silver and her brown mixing togather.

She smiled, relieved that he accepted her apology. Dogpaw looked up at him with bright, sparkling eyes. “Stoney, I've been meaning to tell you something ..” The apprentice said, her voice becoming a little urgent. |

She scooted closer to him, resting her brown head on his strong shoulders. “Splashpaw told me he liked me. And I .. I'm confused. I'm worried he'll leave RockClan if I don't like him back, but I'm not exactly sure I do. I mean, I don't like him. And I just can't ...” Dogpaw stopped talking, and let out a weak sigh. |

She looked at him, her blue eyes glistened with a newfound joy. “No, Stoney. I told Splashpaw no. Because I knew I didn't like him .. I like you.” The brown tabby said with a smile, coming closer to his silver fur. |

She smiled, her fur feeling hot. The brown tabby nuzzled the Stoney's silver shoulder, leaning her head on it with a warm smile. Dogpaw purred in affection, looking up at him. “I'm so lucky that you're here. We are going to be the best. Together, we are going to be awesome.” The apprentice said softly, a smile spreading on her face.
