Giving birth (Snakefang/O)

[Sweetfur]

Sweetfur could feel a horrible pain in her belly, it was painful and she had no idea what to do. Walking into the nursery she called out weakly "Snakefang!" She didn't know what was wrong, she couldn't possibly know this is what it feels like when your having kits. She had never given birth before, she had just become a queen. "SNAKEFANG" she yowled again. The pain was getting worse, unbearable.

[Snakefang]

I heard Sweetfur yowling. Oh no. She was having kits!!! I grabbed some parsley and hurried over to her, then grabbed a stick. "Bite down on this when the kits are coming!" I ordered, then felt her belly. Yep, there were some kits in there, or was it one..."It's coming!" I meowed urgently. "Get ready!"

(How many kits you having?)

[Sweetfur]

(Just one.)

Sweetfur yowled and bit into the stick, the pain was horrible. "wh-" she started to talk and got cut off when the pain went through her again. She felt her belly moving and she could tell it was about to happen, she was going to have her kit, so she pushed. Biting into the stick harder, and then she heard it. A small meow of a kit..

[Snakefang]

"A tom!" I said excitedly and started to lick the kit. Then I set the kit next to Sweetfur's belly. "A strong little one. Who could ask for more?"

[Sweetfur]

Sweetfur purred and licked her kit, "Thank you Snakefang, i don't think i could have done that without you." she meowed. "I think i'm going to name him Duckkit." she purred, watching her kit.

[Snakefang]

I purred and flicked my tail at the parsley and nudged it closer to her. "Eat that so your milk will come for him. Duckkit will become a strong one with lots of milk."

[Phantomwhisper]

Phantompaw ran into the den with the speed of light. Herbs were filled in his jaws which he dropped at the medicine cat's feet. "One sec'." He merly meowed before dissapearing and coming back a moment later with wet moss which he laid down at Sweetfur's muzzle.

[Ducksong]

Duckkit tried to stand up, but fell right over.

{Being lazy}

[Phantomwhisper]

As soon as Phantompaw saw the kit he wanted it. He wanted that kit as his apprentice. Dispite the blind eyes. Despite anything wrong with him. Something about him drew Phantompaw near.

[Snakefang]

I looked down at the bundles of herbs that Phantompaw had thrown at my paws and frowned. What did he grab...Ash, dried oak leaves, and goldenrod? These were all the wrong herbs to use. And plus, she didn't need any herbs. Just some water.

[Sweetfur]

Sweetfur licked her kit, then nodded at Snakefang "Okay, thank you again." she purred and ate the herb he sat in front of her, looking up she saw an apprentice looking at her kit. "Hello, who might you be?" she asked softly.

[Ducksong]

Duckkit squeaked out a sound. It sounded like 'Mom?' He tripped over the herbs at Snakefang's feet and tripped into Snakefang.

[Snakefang]

I looked down at the kit between my two front paws. I purred. "No, I'm Snakefang. You mother is over there." I nudged the little kit to Sweetfur and smiled.

[iamhazel]

Spottedpaw muttered darkly at the back of the medicine den, her four deep gashes down the left side of her face itching horribly. Noticing the new gray and white queen, Sweetfur, give birth to a tom named Duckkit, she grunted irritably and smashed the top of her head on the rock wall, growing more bored by the minute.

[Ducksong]

Duckkit wobbled over to Sweetfur. He couldn't see. Why not?
