[Mistyspark]

"Well my dear, he did fight back. But unfortunately his clan still lost. After the battle Brackenshiver was jealous. Jealous that they were so good at fighting. So he came up with a little plan of his own. The cheeky warrior wanted to sneak into IceClan territory and attack a patrol. How would he do this? He would use underground tunnels!"

[Echoflight]

Echokit blinked widely. "There are underground tunnels in the Clans? But why didn't anyone use them for an invasion before, if they knew about them?"

[Mistyspark]

Mistyspark chuckled. "You'll find out why they aren't used. Now, Brackenshiver put his plan into action and a IceClan patrol came along. He hopped out of the hole and attacked all five of them. The tom was beaten up badly until the ground collapsed. The IceClan patrol and Brackenshiver were packed solid underground."

[Echoflight]

Echokit stood, eyes wide, Cheetahfur momentarily forgotten. Her tail continued to brush comfortingly as if it had a mind of it's own, but her attention was fixed on Mistyspark. "Could they breathe? Did they die? Well, obviously they died eventually, but in that tunnel? Are you in this story?" She paused self-conciously, hearing herself. "Sorry, I ask a lot of questions... Oh yeah, you said you'd describe herself to Ripplekit, since she can't see." She flicked a tail towards the tortoiseshell kit obliviously.
(By the way Ripplekit, my character is not being mean, just naive. After all she's still a kit. I guess... I'm just saying that I would hopefully be much more tactful to actua blind people in actual life at my respectful age.

[Mistyspark]

"Oh right. Well Ripplekit I am a dark brown she-cat with light brown tabby stripes and crystal blue eyes." Mistyspark explained. "Now, the story... Well one of the IceClanners dug his way out, but unfortunately didn't live to tell the story. He had broke his paw and a fox got him before he could get back to camp. The others were probably dead but there is a myth that they are still alive in that tunnel."

[Echoflight]

Echokit scuffed the ground impatiently. "If it had been me with that fox... But, how can they be still alive?" She paused again, troubled. "And if they died underground, then how could their spirits have gotten to CloudClan?"

[Mistyspark]

Mistyspark shook her head. "I don't know. Perhaps their spirit are trapped underground. Poor souls..."

[Echoflight]

Echokit shivered. "That must be horrible. Dying like that is bad enough, but staying there forever... Never hunting again, never seeing the sun..." She trailed off in a rare moment of silence and wisdom. "What about Brackenshiver? Is he still there?"

[Mistyspark]

"Nobody knows... I reckon his soul is underground... this shows that you should never seek revenge for the past but live for the furture."

[Echoflight]

Echokit nodded, eyes still wide. "I guess he was too proud. He had to win, or he'd be... empty." She blinked and sat up. "Whoah. Where did that come from?" She sat there for a moment, then purred softly at herself. "I'm such an elder sometimes. And a mousebrain. " She jumped around, typical bubbly personality back. "Hey, do you think I'll be a good warrior?" She stopped abruptly.
"Are the tunnels still there?"

[Cheetahfur]

Cheetahfur nodded. "I have heard this story before, from the elders. They say if you travel to the overground of where the tunnels once were, you can still hear their shrill shrieks of horror." ### words written for name while listening to song Notes? Blah

[Mistyspark]

Mistyspark nodded. "The tunnels are, just the entrance is blocked off."

[Echoflight]

(Hi, I'm back!)
Echokit bounced around, ignoring the gloomy parts, with death and shrieks. "Where are the entrances? Is it true? THe story, I mean? After all, the elders knew it, and the elders know everything!" She wrinkled her nose. "Almost everything. They know more than I do, at least."
She reared up on her hind legs and swiped at the air, and tumbled over her own paws in an impromptu somersault. "Mouse dung!" she spat, scrambling to her feet.

Ripplekit sat there motionless, as if she was a statue. Suddenly she blinked and shook her head to clear her thoughts. If only I could find those tunnels... she whispered, her mind oblivious to her surroundings and her voice merely audible above Echokit's excited mew. She closed her sightless eyes and imagined herself being trapped underground, scared, no-one to save her. Maybe he's still alive. Take me to the tunnels she demanded, suddenly back on earth. Or I'll go there myself! she added bravely, her blind amber eyes shining with excitement and fear, she had to go there!

[Echoflight]

Echokit blinked, frozen in the act of dusting herself off. "What? Why would you want to go to the tunnels?" She anxiously circled her new friend. "You could die!"
