Antstep sat up in his nest for he was looking for someone to talk to. Where would she be? "Vaporcloud?" He called, hoping she wasn't out on a patrol this morning.

Vaporcloud heard someone call her name, and turned her head. She smiled and approached her former apprentice. "Hello, Antstep. I haven't seen you in a while."

[Starting with the usual conversation, aren't we? ^.^]
Vaporcloud thought for a moment. "Well, I have an apprentice now. His name is Brightpaw. So far I've had a little difficulty trying to teach him. There must be something I'm doing wrong.... I think my memory is weakening too for that matter. I can't remember what I've done with the rest of you that I haven't done with him..." She said with a puzzled look.

She gave an unsure look. "We're currently working on hunting. So far a hare has taken him for a... Ride..." She said, and gave an embarrassed look. Not that she was embarrassed of him, but herself for that matter. That sounded better in my head...

He tried not to snort in disapproval. "For starters you should not let his prey make fool out of him, Vaporcloud. Next time, try showing him an example first before he jumps out of the blue unless you have already done that." Antstep said to her. |

Vaporcloud gave a surprised glance at him when he said that her apprentice had a hare make a fool of him. She wasn't going to argue with him, but that did not mean she supported the idea. "I did not show him an example first, I will try to do that next time." The Siamese said to him.

Vaporcloud sat down on the den floor and flicked her tail. My own apprentice is giving me tips on how to train another of my apprentices.... She thought irritably.

Antstep hadn't really done anything new. "Nothing. I haven't been doing anything new lately. I still need to get my first apprentice, but if I don't stop disappearing I will never get one." He said, almost complaining even though it was somewhat his own fault. |
