Splashstream flicked her ears. "A lot of cats have been talking about it. I know Briarpelt's gonna bring darkness to this clan." She looked down and cracked an old leaf under her paws.

'It's something' Splashstream thought as she looked disbelievingly at Lotuspetal. Tearing off more moss, she set them by her paws. "I have enough. You can take some of mine if you don't" She meowed as she gathered her moss in a bundle.

"No! Um, okay..." Lotuspetal stared at her enlarged pile of moss and sighed. This was going to be a long, long day.

Lotuspetal woke up..... way to early. *Perfect! The sun is rising and the moon is setting, all the while I can see it both!* Lotuspetal thought. *Time for a walk!* Lotuspetal padded into the territory. She immediantly recognized a pile of leaves as the place where Splashstream and her played together as apprenitces. Lotuspetal buried herself in the underground den and snuggled with the company of age-old shells and stones.

Splashstream, waking up early as usual, was surprised to see Lotuspetal up. Well, a black lump of fur that she GUESSED was Lotuspetal. She headed over there. "Are you dead?"

"Hey! " Splashstream hissed as Lotuspetal swiped her. "I guess that means you aren't dead." She smiled as she looked at the nests that they had made. "I wish warriors could do fun stuff and not looked at as immature." Splashstream groomed her fur and looked up. 'Today looks like it'll be great' she thought.

"Yeah, you're right." Lotuspetal sighed. She looked at the center shell, shinong radiantly even though the light was barely hitting it.
(I can put this to an example in real life! As a 5 year old you wanted to grow up. Now that you're a 5th grader you want to stay as a 5 year old. So. Weird.)

Splashstream giggled and quickly sat up and looked around camp. No other cat was up. 'Time to go crazzyyyyy' She thought, then bounded to the middle of camp and ran around in circles. "WE LIVE IN TREECLAAANNNNN!! AND THIS IS THE CAMMMPPPP!!" She sang, loudly.
