Splashstream tripped over a rock and fell over, laughing. She looked up at the sky. 'cats will be up soon' she thought in dismay. 'quick! gotta do something fun!' Splashstream bounded up onto the highrock and fluffed out her fur. "I AM SPLASHSTAR!" She meowed loudly, then quickly hopped down an started running in circles again.

Splash 'star' mreowed with laughter as Lotus 'star' jumped on her. Her ears perked up as she heard a noise from the warrior's den. Eyes widened in alarm, Splashstream ran over to the warrior's den and pretended that she had just woken up. 'I don't want the senior warriors to think I'm crazy! ' she thought. 'Even if I am.'

Splashstream rolled her eyes at Lotuspetal and stretched, heading over to the shadows. "I'm hungry. Let's go hunt." She meowed, boredly

"Oh fine." Lotuspetal had to admit, it was a little boring. Splashstream was a mentor and Lotuspetal wasn't, so Lotuspetal spent most of her time napping.... or hunting. And when Splashstream wasn't mentoring, there wasn't much to do anyways.

"Okay. Let's go near the FireClan border. I don't think cats have hunted there in a while." Splashstream trotted out of camp, and bounded close to the border. "Do you smell anything?"

Lotuspetal had a small feeling Splashstream brought her to the Fire Clan border for some other reason. "Rabbits!" Lotuspetal snuck into the shadows like water. Rock Clan border was a bit further ahead. *I wonder how Mosskit is.* Lotuspetal thought. *Or Heronkit. Did they grow?*

Splashstream looked across the border. 'I wonder if Lotuspetal will ever see her sister' She thought as she looked at Lotuspetal, hunting the rabbit. Splashstream snuck around to the other side of the rabbit, in case it got away.

Lotuspetal chased the rabbit. By now it had gotten very far and Lotuspetal was aching to catch it. Lotuspetal made a final leap and caught it in her unsheathed claws. She killed it swiftly.

Splashstream ran off in the other direction and scented the air. Smelling sparrow, she noticed it sitting on a branch. Jumping up, she snagged its wing, and the bird fell, unable to fly. Splashstream killed it with a quick bite and buried it so she could collect it later. She headed deeper into the woods.

Lotuspetal took a route near a flowing stream and followed it. She found a deep place. *Perhaps some fish would do.* Lotuspetal hid in a looming shadow, close to the stream. *Maybe I'll catch a mouse drinking, too.* Lotuspetal waited for a fish to break through the surface of the water. Legs poised in position, Lotuspetal was ready to catch an unsuspecting fish.

scenting the air, Splashstream smelt shrew. sneaking up on it, she pounced and killed it quickly. Splashstream sat up and sighed, grabbing her prey and walking back to where she buried the sparrow. Digging another hole, she buried the shrew.
