Lotuspetal looked at the a fish and saw it rising to catch an insect. Lotuspetal swiped at it as it leaped out of the stream. Lotuspetal bit into the silver fish and killed it. She put it in a hole and waited again.
(OKAY, PLOT TIME!!! What should happen?)

(hmm... maybe they get into a big argument? Or they go on some adventure, or maybe splash just makes it clear she wants lotus to see moss or heron? Or splash turns evil...XD)
Splashstream tasted the air again. She scented a lapwing a few fox-lengths away. Padding up to it, she got as close as possible and killed it with a hard pounce. grabbing it, she set it beside where she buried the other prey and dug them up. Picking up all three pieces in her jaws, Splashstream headed to the tree where they were supposed to meet.

Splashstream saw a glint at the corner of her eye and spun in that direction. Nothing was there. "Did you see that?" She whispered.

“Nope. didn't see..... anything...." Lotuspetal voice trailed off as she say a cat. It was too dark to see and its eyes were red.

Splashstream followed Lotuspetal's gaze and did a little shriek. Her eyes widened in curiosity. "Ooh! Looks cool. Let's go check it out!" She meowed as she started walking to the shadowy figure.

The figure started running.
Lotuspetal followed and quickened her pace.

Splashstream laughed and ran as fast as she could, and leapt on the thing when she was a mouse-length away. She looked under her paws, but she just saw the ground. "What-" Splashstream was cut off as the figure stood in front of her.

Lotuspelt was a little confused by Splashstream's urupt stop, but then saw the figure and squeaked.

It was dark, with evil red eyes looking directly at Splashstream and Lotuspetal. Splashstream laughed. "You look funny." She meowed to the strange cat.

The dark cat hissed abd ran. Lotuspetal followed by jumping up a tree and jumping branch to branch.
